Ellis Kincaid was the father of Cessily, the X-Man known as Mercury. After Mercury had joined her fellow X-Men on Utopia, he went to court, trying to extradite his daughter from the X-Men whom he claimed had kidnapped his daughter.^{[citation needed]}
