Elizabeth Alain was a doctor in charge of a Sentinels-producing facility where a decommissioned Master Mold was hidden. She planned to use the facility as a refuge for humans who feared mutants, and use the Sentinels they were creating exclusively for protection.

After one of her subjects, Colton Hendry escaped and killed a mutant, Magneto undertook an investigation which led him to Doctor Alain's facility. He tortured her by moving a paper clip through her body and forced her to shut down the facility. She resisted and Magneto caused the paper clip to damage her brain, killing her. He later activated the facility's self-destruct himself.^[1]
