High Evolutionary turned most of the world's population into werewolves. The surviving superheroes were turned into pigs, with Peter Parker becoming Spider-Swine. After killing Kraven the Hunt-Pig, Peter experienced episodes where he thought he was Sergei Kravinoff. Wanting to stop the High Evolutionary, Spider-Swine had Doctor Strange send him back to the past, using a period when his young counterpart was a in a coma to prevent the creation of an alternate timeline.^[1]
