Working for Psycho-Man when he had captured the Fantastic Four, Dutta was the jailer for She-Hulk, torturing her (making her drink sewage) and keeping her in line. When Queen Pearla attempted to liberate She-Hulk, Dutta impaled her with his spear. The trauma enabled She-Hulk to overcome her psychological inhibitions and pummel him.^[1]

Apparently, Barry Dutter, a rabid Marvel fan who sent hate mail any time She-Hulk was in a comic, is the reason Dutta exists. Dutta was created by the direct inspiration from Barry Dutter.
