Kingpin is spreading rumors that he is paying Daredevil to eliminate criminals, causing many of them to target Daredevil in retaliation. Daredevil has to clear his name by fighting his way to the Kingpin.^[1]

• This game is based on the 2003 Daredevil movie, but also features many characters from the comics that weren't in the film, such as Stick (who eventually was shown on film years later in the Elektra movie) and Echo.
• In the game, Stick refers to Daredevil as a pupil, even though in the film, it appeared that Matt Murdock trained by himself, and no reference was made to Stick. In the 2005 Elektra film, there is no indication that Stick ever trained Daredevil, despite having trained Elektra.
• The game has numerous of unlockables, including level select, concept art, comic covers and art, movie promo, character bios and classic comic costumes for Daredevil, Elektra, Bullseye and Kingpin. To legitimately unlock them, a player needs to collect DD tokens hidden on every non-boss level. But the cheat code "41TK1S6ZNGV" can be entered within the game to unlock everything.
