Daredevil followed the Ox's trail of senseless damage to Columbus Circle, until the villain spotted Karen Page walking down the street. DD tried to protect her, but he was easily defeated by the Ox, who placed an extra Ox costume on DD and escaped with the girl. When the police arrived, they thought that Daredevil was masquerading as the Ox to get away with crime and so locked him up.^[1]

Years later, as Iron Man attacked the Champions on Eighth Avenue, he lured Hercules to Columbus Circle, attempting to get him closer to the Avengers Mansion so that he might defeat Typhon.^[2]
