Clan Yashida's ancestral stronghold was a traditional Japanese fortress, built of stone and wood. It was located 300 klicks (kilometers) north of Tokyo, in the hills overlooking the port city of Agarashima in the Miyago prefecture. It was from here that Lord Shingen ruled the Japanese underworld. Wolverine assaulted the fortress and slaughtered the Hand ninjas guarding it. Wolverine and Lord Shingen fought a duel to the death, one which cost Lord Shingen his life.^[1][2]
