Reed Richards designed the Airjet-Cycle for use for the Fantastic Four for fast, short-distance travel. It was designed to be able to carry more than one person.

Some of the Avengers were also seen to have used Airjet-Cycles on occasion, at least until the introduction of their own Sky Cycles.^[1]
