About Performance Lab

The Performance Lab plugin is a collection of “feature projects” for WordPress coreCore Core is the set of software required to run WordPress. Early Access Program

As a hosting platform or site developer, you’re in a unique position to significantly influence and contribute to upcoming performance improvements to WordPress by joining our Early Access Program. Since the WordPress Performance Team is developing features in Performance Lab which will ultimately launch in core, testing features through this plugin provides the latest performance improvements for WordPress for your sites at scale. Additionally, through your testing, your feedback will influence features which will become a part of WordPress.
