Following this recent Media Corps update and call for participation, we will host a briefing with Anne McCarthy (@annezazu) exploring the WordPress 6.6 source of truth. This session aims to provide Media Corps partners with an overview of the key features and updates in WordPress 6.6 and address questions about the release. It will also serve as a pilot, allowing us to test the format and gather feedback for future briefings.

What to expect
During this session, media partners can gain insight into the source of truth and key updates planned in WordPress 6.6—scheduled for release on July 16—to help their coverage and reporting. Anne, Product Wrangler at Automattic and Test Lead for WordPress 6.6, will also help answer questions about the upcoming release.
The session will be recorded for those unable to join live. Media partners can submit their questions in advance as comments to this post (by June 26). When sharing your questions, please include the media outlet or channel you’re representing.
Due to time constraints, we may be unable to cover all questions live.
Additional note
These sessions are intended for Media Corps partners but will be open to the public to avoid restricting information. This means anyone can join as a viewer/listener. However, please note that questions from media partners will be prioritized.
