Hosting Team Discussion

Mini Bug Scrub / Triage

There are some open issues for the test runner and open issues for the reporter pluginPlugin A plugin is a piece of software containing a group of functions that can be added to a WordPress website. They can extend functionality or add new features to your WordPress websites. WordPress plugins are written in the PHP programming language and integrate seamlessly with WordPress. These can be free in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory or can be cost-based plugin from a third-party.. The hosting team held a mini bug-scrub or triage today to help get momentum behind making improvements to the phpunit test runner and reporter.

@crixu volunteered to take on Runner Issue 91 regarding adding Travis documentation to the handbook. @crixu also mentioned that he’s researching ways to best support the test runner on internal systems to enable partners to contribute with more ease in the future.

@mikeschroder suggested building in some example test scripts for the test runner in hosting and test documentation, as well. Runner Issue 102 was created to follow up on that idea.

@xkon and @sergeybiryukov took ownership of Runner Issue 89 which turned into TracTrac Trac is an open-source, web-based project management and bug tracking system. Trac integrates with major version control systems including ("out of the box") Subversion and Git. #49367, this commit and this patch.

Well done, everyone!
