A new IETF non-working group email list has been created. List address: ai-control@ietf.org Archive: https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/browse/ai-control/ To subscribe: https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/ai-control Purpose: This list is for discussing mechanisms that might be used to control how "AI" (i.e., large language models) interact with existing Internet infrastructure, and how they might be controlled. Initially, it is likely to focus on how Web sites can state preferences to "AI spiders" through a mechanism like robots.txt (RFC9309), but discussion is not limited to that topic. This list belongs to IETF area: WIT For additional information, please contact the list administrators.
