Susan Wolf

Susan Wolf retired in 2016 as founder and CEO of Global Governance Consulting, where she provided independent advice concerning corporate governance and disclosure matters to corporate boards and management teams. Susan’s prior career as an in-house lawyer included Corporate Secretary, Chief Governance Officer and Associate General Counsel of Schering-Plough Corporation (now Merck), as well as securities law and governance positions with The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (now Exelon) and ConTel (now Verizon). She is the author of The Going In-House Handbook: A Concise Guide to Making Big Career Changes.

Susan earned a BA in Sociology from Emory University and a JD from the George Washington University Law School.

Susan has been active in not-for-profit and civic matters. She served as a senior fellow with The Conference Board Governance Center and chairman of the Society for Corporate Governance. Susan has served as a member of many boards, including George Washington University Business & Law Advisory Board, Council of Institutional Investors Board of Directors, Temple University School of Medicine Board of Advisors, Caldwell College Board of Trustees, Healthcare for the Homeless (Baltimore) Board of Advisors and House of Ruth (Maryland) Board of Directors.
