Skip Victor

Skip Victor (2013-2014) is a co-founder of Balmoral Advisors, a private equity firm located in Los Angeles specializing in special situations and distressed securities. Mr. Victor is also a Senior Managing Director of Duff & Phelps focusing on corporate finance and debt restructurings (and a co-founder of Chanin Capital Partners, an investment banking firm which was acquired by Duff & Phelps in 2006). Mr. Victor is a 2012 Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow at Harvard University, and sits on several non-profit boards focusing on education, arts, international finance, and foreign affairs. Mr. Victor holds an M.B.A. from the UCLA Graduate School of Management (where he received the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Service), and a B.A. from Cornell University. Mr. Victor is a frequent lecturer at UCLA, where he was a Regent’s Lecturer in 2011. Mr. Victor lives in Los Angeles with his wife Linda, and they have four children.
