Kathryn C. Turner

Kathryn C. Turner is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Standard Technology, Inc., a management consulting firm focused on health information management for the Department of Defense. An experienced board member in both profit and nonprofit organizations, she currently serves on the boards ConocoPhillips, Schering-Plough, and Carpenter Technology Corp., as well as the National Capital Area chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Educated at Howard University, she has lived in the Washington, D.C. area most of her life. Ms. Turner was one of nine students selected by the NAACP to integrate the Alexandria, Va. school system in the late 1950s.
