Frank J. Quirk

Frank J. Quirk of Alexandria, Virginia and Stuart, FL, was a member of the Smithsonian Libraries Advisory Board from 2001-2009, served as Vice Chair and as Chairman, and also served as Chair or Co-Chair of two of the Libraries’ galas. He was Chairman and CEO of Macro International Inc., a research and technology consulting company, from 1980 to 2006, and continued as Chairman until June 2008. He also served first as Executive Vice President and then as President and Director of Opinion Research Corporation, until the company was sold in 2006. In the past, he served as a Director of Ameribank (1992-1995) and the Professional Services Council (1980-1996), a Washington based trade association representing 130 professional and technical service firms. He is a life member of the Cornell University Council and currently serves as President of the Alexandria Symphony Concerto Foundation. He holds a B.A. and MBA degree from Cornell University.
