Shibuya Kaikan Monaco

Shibuya Kaikan Monaco (SKM) was one of the oldest (70’s) and greatest arcade in Tokyo. This 6 floors independant arcade located in a non friendly gamers area (Shibuya) was also one of the cheapest arcade in Tokyo with every games at ¥50. With more than 200 machines, the retrogaming selection was ontop : fighting games, shooters, rythm games, and a couple of side scroller beat them up like Capcom’s The King of Dragon. Featured as an hommage on the second season of the great “high score girl” anime, it sadly closed in august 2013. Drawing by @une.ortega
