best thing i've played in a while! i'm obsessed and can't wait for the final game to come out :') literally logged in to make this comment!

Downloaded version points to... a specific folder, rather than a relative. Thus, it doesn't launch

My mistake. Alternative way to run game is entering "Files" folder and running "Folder Dungeon.exe". It should work then

Ez, i beated first try, cute and fun. Keep the good work!

Fun and cute game

good shit, busted game, please moar

I beat the game without reading the instructions, so I didn't know you could mark doors. found a way around it though.

this is a really good game if i may ask what engine do you use? and also someday i hope to create gameas this good its a good game

I'm using Unity. Good luck with your game dev journey!

Hello, solid game you've made here. I played it as part of an event going on in the howlongtobeat.com forums where your game got voted for, and it was a lot of fun

The heat systems a bit broken. I think that it's meant to add some strategy to the game but
1. It was a bit easy to break, i had over enough heat by the end of the 3rd floor to explore every single folder and chest on all the subsequent floors if i found one or two ice creams, and my run ended with 153 heat.
2. It also (atleast for me) caused me to be less strategic and just start rushing.

All that aside, this was engaging and fun, and that's what matters. With a bit more polish and a bit more meat on its bones, this could be really good. I've already wishlisted the game on steam and I'm looking forward to the full release.

That's actually so cool! And thanks for the feedback! All of it will be addressed in full version :)

Great game! loved doin multiple runs to see what relics I've missed in my first few, and I loved making different builds.

I don't think it would be hard to just increase the size of each floor, just by increasing the chances of branching paths.

I think the problem with this game is that most people won't go back and loot through all the rooms like I do, and the difficulty of the game is designed for such people.

this was epic! love to see it progress <3

Loved playing this! Thank you so much!

Reminded me of the old text based chose your own adventure games :

I'll start out by saying that the game is beautiful and almost nostalgic in a way. The game brings a refreshing twist to the rogue-like dungeon crawler genre.

The heating feature was a great addition, never reached that mark, but that could be they were too high or the fact i didnt scavenge everything.

The items seem to overpowered, and with enough of the right items it makes the game a breeze, my second playthrough i was clearing rooms in almost 2 hits. it was practically speed running the game.

The game is fun though, and i highly recommend it. loved the ending as well.

this is awesome love the concept, its a really great esplainer of dungeon crawl mechanics too, could be a great education tool, loved it!

the ending really made me smile 😁 fnished it first try so maybe it could be just a lil harder, but the heat system is on point

This was SUCH a fun twist on a roguelike, I can't praise it enough! It's so simple yet its clear it had a lot of love and thought put into it. Like some people have said, it DOES get a little easy towards the end or if you get lucky and get a ton of good items. However, I think it's really cool as it is and if it gets updated or more features! Here is more of my thoughts/reaction during an actual playthrough:

wonderful concept, gameplay, and music. could prefer some more challenge, other than that

10/10

Nice game, very good concept, tough near the end it felt a bit easy...

This might just be me, I'd love to see a harder version of this game, maybe where overheating damage does 3 instead of 1, as I took a lot of overheating damage.

Keep Developing.

Adorable! Love it :)

I really loved this, very original and very fun

really fun overall

Hey very nice game maybe too easy, but the art feel and concept are awesome! noticed a bug whe you start another run right after winning one another soundtrack starts playing over the first one, hope that helps

There's something wrong with the resolution, both fullscreened and not, and independent of browser. This is on a 3456x2234 screen on a Mac. The right and left ends of the game screen are cut off, for example the title of what I assume to be the character window reads "ent ID" and the clock at bottom right shows "2:00" plus half of "A".

Magic hat + pirate hook is so broken. Genuinely nerf this. 11/10 game

SHH... Don't tell him

You think that's broken? Try vampire bat and baguette knife!

i love that combo

I love the game! Very enjoyable and fun. Love the art style and sounds
Great game!

Folder Dungeon Walkthrough

(+2)

how is this a walkthrough, shoudn't it be a playthrough?

yeah your right, walkthroughs i think are to walk you through what to do, playthrough is just playing through the game

i love this concept 10/1

fun game

this is a super awesome game!

This is dope

(+1)

gonna do a run without directly attacking enemies (except on the exit floor)

(+2)

this one was actually hard, it took three tries to get the right rng and strategy

(did it mostly without in/out room spamming, except with water bottle)

gonna do a no health potion run.

I did it. it was the opposite of hard.

did another run without angry bat. was still not difficult, although I did end with 13 hp (I still used apples)

This is a really really good job, hope you continue making more levels! I want to do a speedrun of this!

Really cool, thanks <3

Adorable as hell, good job!

Great game, really enjoyed it
