    VRROOM is a metaverse platform dedicated to the next generation of events and liveshows. It connects in one place three categories of people:
    - The world builders, that can use their Unity skills to build amazing worlds and experiences with the tools they already know
    - The artists, that can perform concerts, theater plays, or other forms of show in the metaverse very easily in the worlds created by VRROOM itself or by the world builders
    - The audience, that wants to enjoy the liveshows of their favorite artists from everywhere in the world in an affordable way

    VRROOM aims to be the place-to-be for virtual and hybrid performances in the metaverse. Its ambition is to become the top place where people create and enjoy immersive concerts, connect with people with similar passions, and enjoy art in an accessible way.

    HitMotion: Reloaded is a virtual reality fitness game that makes people stay fit while having fun. The game is all about moving in the space and punching droids, all while wearing a VR headset. Thanks to the sophisticated game design and the use of gamification, HitMotion makes its players perform a boxing training while they have fun playing a game.

    HitMotion: Reloaded has been developed in collaboration with HTC and it has been of the 20 launch titles of the HTC Vive Focus Plus.

It was performed during the pandemic and let people enjoy a very beautiful concert to celebrate New Year's Eve even if they were locked inside their home.

    Welcome To The Other Side was the concert in the metaverse offered by the legend of electronic music Jean-Michel Jarre inside a virtual Notre-Dame Cathedral to celebrate the end of the year 2020. Across all media, it allotted 75 MILLION views, which is a record in the field. The concert was very well received by the critic and the audience and was even spotlighted on the Unity blog.

    It is the future of location-based entertainment, a laser-tag 2.0. A group of friends can meet in a venue and play together a game of the genre that they like the most, moving in the space and interacting with each other with their full body like in real life.
    The setup of this solution is really simple and fast: players just have to wear the headset, grab the controllers, and they are ready for the action. The equipment is very lightweight, but thanks to 5G connectivity and the wonder of cloud rendering, it is possible for the players to see high-quality graphics like the ones rendered by a powerful workstation.
    The first game of the Ultiverse platform is Zone Zero, a team multiplayer shooter game, where two teams face each other in an arena, shooting each other and dodging the opponents’ attacks. Playing outside with your friends has never been so fun.

Project employed virtual reality headsets (Oculus Rift DK2) and hands tracking sensors (Intel Realsense).

  • Second Place at Microsoft Embedded Spark 2011 (collaboration)

    I've collaborated with Gianni Rosa Gallina at his project KitchenPal, who has been awarded with second place at Microsoft Embedded Spark 2011. Collaboration regarded a small part of the application, aimed at decoding EAN13 barcodes from images taken with a smartphone.
