Project Introduction

MonsterCare is a cozy management-simulation game that puts you in the shoes of a rookie owner of a wellness resort for monsters. Two Point Hospital meets Spirited Away — here you are tasked with constructing and managing your own resort, and providing the monsters with a much needed respite from their stress-filled lives.

As you give these creatures a place to relax and rejuvenate, you’ll also be able to make a nice profit for yourself to grow and expand your business. You’ll have to be strategic in how you allocate resources to ensure that the monsters have access to all the creature comforts they desire. Each monster coming to your resort has a distinct need in one of the Dimensions of Wellness, so you’ll have to find ways to cater to their individual preferences, by building amenities, purchasing consumables and scheduling wellness activities.

You’ll also have to manage the day-to-day operations of the resort, from hiring staff to marketing campaigns. The satisfaction of your patrons, and your own financial success depend on your ability to build a successful resort, so get ready to start managing!

About Developer

We are Housefolk, a tiny-yet-mighty game studio based in Helsinki, set out to make whimsical simulation games that are accessible and fun for everyone :) We have more than 15 years of experience in the games industry between us, and we have worked on some cool games for PC and mobile.

Housefolk was born from our frustration with the current state of management and simulation games, which often cater only to seasoned, hardcore players. We knew we could do better. Drawing from our experience in both mobile and PC/console markets, we’re confident that we can make a difference! By focusing on great UX, gradual complexity curves, and adorable, wholesome visuals, we aim to create games that are fun and approachable for everyone, no matter their background or skill level.
