    Wrote a paper under SOAS Prof. Ben Hardy on how culture helps or hinders change efforts depending on how well-aligned an organization’s culture is with its new strategy.

  • Paper on the Constraints of State Intervention in Sub Saharan Africa since Independence

    -

    (1)Wrote a paper under Paris’ Dauphine University’s Prof. Alice Sindzingre to study how 6 decades of development aid have shrinked the autonomy of African policy makers and made them tied up to the conditionalities of donor countries and IFIs.
    (2)It also elaborated on the concept of developmental state in new economic lexicon and corroborates the idea with a case study of Nigeria.

  • Paper on the Financial Stability of Japan

    -

    (1)Worked under the guidance of SOAS Prof. Yoshikatsu Shinozawa to develop a paper assessing the fairness and stability of the financial system in Japan as studied before and after the 2008 Financial Crisis.
    (2)Examined the key stylized facts about all three aspects of a Financial Systems i.e Banks, Capital Markets and Corporate Governance, and understood the long term economic and social consequences of the same.

  • Single Equation models for the Earnings Function

    -

    (1)Conducted a literature review on the theory of human capital and determinants of income
    (2)Tested all the single equation models using SPSS to obtain the most determining explanatory variables for an individual’s earnings and checked the equations for multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, auto-correlation, and the goodness of the fit of the models.

  • Financial Analysis of the working of Caplin Point labs, Venky’s and Tata Power

    -

    The project was aimed at determining whether or not to invest in the aforementioned three companies and for how long. A hypothetical fund of INR 1 Lac was to be managed by each group, using Ratio, Trend, and Cash Flow Analysis.

  • Macro-economic analysis of Afghanistan

    -

    Did an in-depth study of Afghanistan’s economy for over a century, starting from 1919, when it gained independence from British rule till date. It analysed the GDP growth rate patterns, sector-wise contribution to GDP, impact of terrorism on State Formation etc and suggested a prognosis and possible way forward.
