Tech giant Google has selected 20 Indian startups for the first cohort of its ‘Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First’ programme👇 Announced in April this year for seed to Series A startups, the accelerator programme received more than 1,030 applications. The initiative will offer three months of equity-free support to 20 early-stage startups using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technology in their core business practices. The programme is targeted at AI-first startups operating across sectors such as gaming, manufacturing, healthcare, education, data analytics and cybersecurity. Build your entire design system in 10 minutes! Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak to around 80 designers in London, all eager to upgrade their Figma design skills. One key focus of my talk was reducing the design process by 50%. When I asked what tasks took up the most time, most attendees mentioned that building their design system usually took 2 to 5 days, while some also mentioned it could take up to 6 to 11 months before they would start on high-fidelity mockups. To address this, I introduced a plugin called Identity that I recently discovered, which can halve the time spent on building a design system. The plugin, still in beta, allows you to build your entire design system, including Figma variables and shadow effects. I've created a short video demonstrating how to use Identity, and you can even customize the default components it comes with. Creación de estilos de color, estilos de tipografía, de espaciado, definir la grilla, los radios, las sombras.... Y hay más!! Todos tus componentes!!! Me he pasado una hora jugando con este plugin, es increíble!! Modificas el color primario y ZAZ! modifica las variantes del mismo, pero además modifica los componentes con los colores, tipografías y etcéteras que hayas seleccionado. Finalmente exportas el sistema y automáticamente genera todos los estilos y los fundamentos para comenzar a diseñar. Es un gigante ahorrador de tiempo este recurso!!
