    The French National Day, or Bastille Day, occupies a special place in the French consciousness as it commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison during the French Revolution in 1789. Consul General of Mumbai invited many French companies having businesses in India and reiterated French-India growing business collaboration in India. Mandar Nadkarni, Nuclear Director at Egis in India, had the honour of representing Egis alongside many industry players to celebrate #BastilleDay. The salience of India-France partnership has grown in this complex geopolitical environment and in pursuit of our national interest and priorities. It has been reiterated that the year 2026 will be celebrated as India-France year of innovation. The partnership over the years has shown all round progress, across all the domain, including defence, nuclear energy, security, space increasing green areas such as clean energy, commerce.     🌿 Excited to share that Egis in India, in collaboration with our NGO partner Hara Jeevan, organized a successful plantation drive this Saturday! 🌱 With the enthusiasm and dedication of around 50 volunteers, we planted over 200 saplings and shrubs, cleaned the area, re-soiled, and participated in many other green initiatives.
