Mortal's Team Emerges Victorious at The Finals Esports Revolution Showdown 2024
Team Scout didn't make it easy for them.
Skyesports recently hosted The Finals Esports Revolution Showdown competition, the first-ever LAN competition in India for Embark Studios' free-to-play first-person shooter. The competition was hosted at the Skyesports HQ in Chennai, and 20 of the country's gaming content creators taking part in the tournament.
The creators were divided into squads of five players each, with four captains. The captains included Mortal, Scout, Binks, and Sentinel, and they fought it out in a double-elimination bracket. Scout and Mortal's teams made it to the finals for The Finals, with the latter emerging victorious. Mortal's team consisted of himself, Red Parasite, Dolly Plays, Pashu, and Pingu.
“I am feeling thrilled, especially with the team,” Naman “Mortal” Mathur shared after grabbing the victory. “I didn't know what my team's capabilities were until we got here. We sat here and learned – improvised on our mistakes, and here we are.”
Shiva Nandy, the founder and CEO of Skyesports, mentioned that The Finals Esports Revolution Showdown got more than 225,000 viewers.
