WTF X IGDC Game Jam 2024 To Kick Off Next Week With Prizes Worth INR 15 Lakh

The gaming industry is currently growing rapidly with continuous expansion. The WTF x IGDC game jam is starting next week and is a great opportunity for game developers to showcase their talent.

The WTF x IGDC Game Jam is a 48-hour hackathon where game developers from around the country gather to form teams and create games based on specific themes. Starting from July 19 to July 21, 2024, participants can register on the official website. You can join either solo or in a team, with up to five members. There is no restriction on the number of entries; you can submit as many games as you like. However, submissions are only accepted for the Web, Android, iOS, and Windows platforms, as these will be evaluated by the jury. The last date to join the event is before it concludes on July 21, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

The top ten teams will receive an exclusive opportunity to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Bangalore, where they will have the chance of meeting the judges: Sean (Hyunil) Sohn, Animesh Agarwal, Nikhil Kamath, Joseph Kim, and Nitish Mittersain. Participants in the event can incorporate open-source art, previously created assets (including art, music, code, etc.), or assets from stores into their game submissions. You can legally use any assets you have the rights to. Furthermore, it is necessary to include a readme file that outlines all assets used and their copyright requirements in the project.
