Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment Will Reportedly Be the First Xbox Titles To Come on PlayStation 5

The whole gaming industry has been curious about Xbox’s next plans since the rumours about their exclusive titles coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch started surfacing. Xbox has decided to clear the air and let the fan base know what their plans for the company are this Thursday, February 15 through their podcast. However, some details from this podcast may have surfaced earlier than expected.

When the rumours started popping up, there were talks about titles like Starfield, the upcoming Indiana Jones game, Forza and many others coming to PlayStation and Nintendo. There were also rumours about the Game Pass subscription coming to these platforms too. Interestingly, Xbox hasn’t denied these rumours and has just spoken about revealing their plans soon and it seems the first two titles that will become multi-platform have been decided.

According to a report by Verge, sources close to Microsoft have revealed that Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment will be the first titles to become available on other consoles, which are the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Moreover, the report also states that another exclusive, Sea of Thieves will also become available to other platforms later this year while other first-party titles are being considered.

This information does seem likely as Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment are the perfect first titles to move to the rival platforms as they aren’t the biggest by Xbox, but aren’t small by any means either. However, in the end, this isn’t official information and Xbox hasn’t confirmed any of these rumours, so we cannot say for sure whether these titles are indeed making their way to the other platforms.
