Dark Souls 2 sells 1.2 million copies

Revealed as part of the company's financials.

Namco Bandai has posted its financial results for last financial year, revealing it's sold 1.2 million copies of Dark Souls II in Europe and North America so far.

As the figure relates to the fiscal year ending March 31, it doesn't include the recently released PC version of the punishing title.

For reference, From Software revealed back in April 2013 that 2.3 million copies has been sold of the original Dark Souls worldwide, including the Artorias of the Abyss Edition. Internationally, the first Dark Souls on PS3 and Xbox 360 sold 1.3 million copies.

Elsewhere in the financials, it was revealed Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z sold 620,000 units, God Eater 2 managed 700,000 in Japan, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle sold 550,000, again in Japan.

Overall the year resulted in an increased revue of ¥507 billion but a smaller profit of ¥25 billion. While sales rose 4.2 percent, profit fell 22.6 percent.
