an introductory meeting with a senior manager in a leading organization in Israel. When I raised the issue of information security and the need to invest in protecting the organization, he smiled confidently and said: "Why would they want to hack into us? We are not a defense company or a bank. Everything will be fine." Familiar? 📌 The belief that organizations that do not operate in security or financial fields do not need cyber protection is wrong and dangerous. There are several possible reasons for hacking organizations, which may apply to any organization: ☑ Random and large-scale attacks, regardless of the specific target ☑ Attacks for economic gain ☑ Supply chain attacks ☑ Theft of sensitive data such as customer information, employee information, and business information ☑ Ideological and political motives Therefore, it is important for every organization to understand the importance of information security and protect its systems accordingly. Prudence and proper investment in protection can save significant future costs and damages. By the way, the same senior manager finally understood the importance of protecting the organization. Today marks my last day at Check Point Software Technologies after nearly 7 amazing years. Reflecting on my journey, I am exceptionally proud of the contributions and impact I've made at one of Israel's largest tech companies. My story with Check Point began serendipitously when I met a CHKP VP while waiting tables in Tel Aviv 🍲 . This chance encounter led to a life-changing opportunity and an incredible professional journey. During my time at Check Point, I contributed to the creation of Infinity Total Protection, CHKP's cornerstone cybersecurity subscription model , and re-launched the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) program. I also created the Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) business model, growing it from inception to $XX million annually. This included collaborating with product management on pricing and metering technologies, establishing sales and approval workflows, and working with the legal department on agreement templates. As the Sales Operations Team Leader in the new MSSP department, I: • Defined the offering vision, set success metrics / KPIs, and outlined team responsibilities • Managed the onboarding process for partners, streamlined workflows, established & executed GTM strategy • Re-developed the leasing offering, ensuring a sustainable & significant growth trajectory 🚀 • Led a team of three super-stars 👩‍🚀 👨‍🚀 👩‍🚀 , achieving 65% YoY revenue growth Throughout my career at Check Point, I faced many challenges that strengthened my skills. I represented PAYG models to CHKP's top management, including some of Israel’s most influential leaders, and spoke at cybersecurity conferences across Europe to audiences of over 150 attendees. Key lessons I've learned include; 1. Success & fulfillment come from working with talented, motivated people  2. Patience is essential; some projects require late nights only to be canceled the next morning 3. Honest, data-driven analysis is crucial for strategic decision making  4. Effective cross-functional collaboration requires humility, respect, and curiosity 5. Never be afraid to ask a dumb question! I am deeply grateful to Check Point, the management team, and my mentors for the opportunities and education I received. To all the fantastic colleagues, partners, distributors, and customers, thank you for making this journey unforgettable. I am now transitioning to find new challenges in a new market and hope to share more exciting news soon. Stay tuned! 😊

"With great power comes great responsibility." - Uncle Ben A few months ago, I received a call from a dedicated member of OTI - The Israeli Autism Association. They had noticed suspicious activity in their email system and had heard about OP Innovate's Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) services. Without hesitation, Omer Pinsker, Ben B., Mickey Alton, and I decided to help. In our free time, we thoroughly investigated the situation to ensure the organization's data was secure. We also conducted a penetration test to confirm that the attacker would not find another way in. It's infuriating to think someone would target a non-profit organization that supports autistic children. Extensive Use of ORB Proxy Networks by State Actors to Elude Detection approaching Israeli customers. Based on our research and ongoing monitoring of cyber-attacks, we've discovered a concerning trend: China-linked state-backed hackers are increasingly utilizing operational relay box (ORB) networks for cyber spying. These networks function like compromised computers and servers, which are controlled by cybercriminals who provide access to various hacker groups. The lifespan of an IPv4 address of an ORB node can be as short as 31 days These networks are exceptionally difficult to detect and attribute blame to because they're widely dispersed and constantly changing. As a result, companies struggle to defend against them as hackers exploit diverse resources worldwide. Israeli company CyberArk has announced that they will be acquiring U.S. company Venafi in what is set to be a strategic acquisition for many reasons. The deal has been valued at $1.54 billion and is a significant milestone, not just for CyberArk, but for the entire cybersecurity landscape. CyberArk's strategic acquisition of Venafi, a leader in machine identity protection, highlights the critical need to secure machine-to-machine communications in our rapidly evolving digital world. With AI and cloud services transforming how we operate, the explosion of machine identities has created new vulnerabilities. CyberArk's decision to expand its security solutions to address these challenges is timely and necessary.
