There is already an entry in unacceptable behaviors speaking about retaliation against complaints on CEPC/CoC grounds. That is important, but too narrow. Retaliation in other contexts is unacceptable as well. I suggest either broadening the existing entry, or adding a separate one. For instance, broadening the existing one could yield something like this

  • Retaliating, or taking adverse action, , against anyone who files a complaint that someone has violated this code of conduct.

(just a quick note to indicate that I'm indeed OK with this being handled in after release of the 2023 edition)
