What would you like to add or change?:

  • i think some of the core services still maintain to startup even when the app is disabled from startup .
  • please make all the portmaster components don't startup as the app is disabled from startup.

describing the issue : (os : windows 11)

  • with portmaster startup enabled : after a fresh boot , i manually closed portmaster , then i opened my game and played as usual (cs2)
  • with portmaster startup disabled : after a fresh boot , i opened my game but couldn't connect to any server .

Why do you and others need this?:
regardless from the connectivity issues this kinda "bug" could cause , it also slow down boot time even when the app is disabled on startup!

and thanks!

If you do not want Portmaster to start on boot, you need to disable the system service "Portmaster Core".

ok sorry , the startup problem is no big deal i think .
will focus on why Portmaster doesnt firewall the executed commands (like cmd or powershell) , it doesnt even appear in the Portmaster UI that cmd or powershell is using internet !!
how is that !
and thanks!
