This is on the premium upsell instead of "Upgrade now". This change should not apply to Android.

Can be tested by selecting a premium model as a non-premium user.

The above requires 1.67.102 or higher for 1.67.x verification 👍

  1. Installed 1.67.105
  2. launched Brave
  3. clicked Leo icon in the sidebar
  4. typed hi in the Enter a prompt here field
  5. clicked I understand
  6. opened brave://settings/leo-assistant
  7. selected Claude 3 Sonnet as a default model
  8. opened a new tab and clicked leo icon
  9. clicked Try 7 days free button
  • Confirmed Try 7 days free button is shown in the premium upsell instead of "Upgrade now".
  • Confirmed when clicked the button, it navigates account.brave.com page as expected.

Verified on Samsung Galaxy S21 using version:

Brave	1.67.105 Chromium: 126.0.6478.26 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) 
Revision	ff15eaa0be4f63abc388184895a7450c929375c8
OS	Android 13; Build/TP1A.220624.014; 33; REL
  • Ensured that call to action text is not changed on the paywall when tapping on Go Premium.
  • Ensured that rate limit card does not show 7 day trial.
