Congratulations to Guillaume Meyzenq, new Chief Product Officer for Softgoods at Salomon 🎉 Guillaume has been a major force at Salomon for 27 years and since his appointment to the position of Footwear Vice-President in 2017, Salomon has more than doubled the size of the footwear business globally. His promotion to the new role of Global Chief Product Officer - Softgoods reflects the establishment of a new softgoods business unit which now aligns the Apparel teams with the strong existing Footwear and Bags strategy. “Salomon is a growth brand. Our strategy is focused on a more unified experience for the consumer with our footwear, bags and apparel,” explains James Zheng, Salomon’s CEO. “Guillaume’s ability to build teams, align innovation and consumer trends, combined with a sharp focus on authenticity have driven huge growth for Salomon. We are excited to see him take on this new position and drive Salomon forward in Apparel!”

How do we capture genuine feedback to perfect our products? James Boyes, Product Line Manager at Salomon, along with the sport science team, attended the Maxi Race in Annecy. Their mission was to study and identify the criteria for the perfect long-distance running shoes.

Trainees Take the Lead and Organize Salomon’s Sustainability Week! This 5th edition of Salomon’s annual Sustainability Week was a huge success, thanks to our trainees' hard work and dedication! They took charge from start to finish, organizing and communicating an array of activities that brought our employees together to celebrate and promote sustainable practices (special thanks to our social media marketing intern for lending her voice to this video Salomé MOUGEL 🙌). From the excitement of the bike bus and the insightfulness of the conference with Victor Daviet and Gaëtan Gaudissard about climate issues in winter sports to the creativity of the upcycling workshops, every event was thoughtfully planned to raise awareness, inspire, and educate.
