  1. Title is the just of it, but a little more detail is the game runs perfect until i look at a weapon rack then it stutters for a second or two and ctd's. Also strangely enough the closer my character is to the weapon rack the faster it ctd's. Also not sure if it matters but im in 1st person. I tried disabling all my weapons mods, and all my workbench mods, even going one by one to see if i could figure out which mod it was but it ctd's no matter what. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Also i use Vortex. plugins.txt 2024-02-24-02-55-29.log Edit 2 As i've continued to attempt to fix the ctds, i've found that it seems to be all weapon cases, for example there is one of those yellow lid boxes that you have to open, and i can stare at it all day however once i click it, so it'll open the game stutters as its starting to open and then ctd's. also everyone of my crashes has the same text as follows "Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x7FF6448F488F Starfield.exe+230488F" without quotes. same text and the same numbers, unfortunately im to dumb to know how to fix this so here's hoping one of you know how. thanks again ahead of time.

Hello Fellow Dwellers, i'm a bit new in modding so what i want is to make a custom craftable workbench and link it to the a specific workshop workbench without to put the custom workbench in the world by using CK. So i was able to make a custom workbench and know how to make it craftable , but now i don't know how to make it so that when i'm crafting the workbench in game that it is automatically linked to the specific workshop workbench. (like ' Linked Ref ' in CK only now must be included in the craftable workbench ) my English is not perfect so hope i explained good and you guys can help me out here. i uploaded a image also for better understanding.
  3. I would like to create a mod that can transmogrify a few tin cans into a piece of scrap metal through a schematic in the workbench. I've never fooled around with this kind of thing before though, and am having trouble finding a tutorial on how to do it. I saw one on how to add modded weapon schematics, but since this is for an item (and ideally I only want one version of the schematic) I don't know if it would work for me. I've never messed with scripting or anything before either, and that seems like something I'd have to fool around with while making this mod. I have messed with form lists and stuff like that before, but only in as far as a tutorial told me to while making a different mod. My experience with the GECK is mostly limited to creating unique weapons and armor using vanilla/DLC assets, not much more than that. So any help or advice at all would be helpful to me with this. And if what I'm trying to do won't work due to engine limitations or is too complicated for my tiny brain, any advice on what method would work for my mod would be greatly appreciated.

  5. While it does take some time to get used to the workbench UI changes in Fallout 76, I think the new system is better. The hoarder in me also likes the feature that allows you to scrap all junk you're holding into their base components; this makes looting areas easier. Does anyone else find this new system appealing, and would anyone consider bringing this to Fallout 4, or does anyone know of a mod that does this?
  6. I have looked at several guides for workshops, but it seems that the Robot Workbench is structured differently. The robot workbench doesn't seem to use keyword recipes. I have been successful in adding new menu items to existing robot work bench menus, but I have not been able to add entirely new menus. What I know is that using ap_bot keywords allows one to specify omods to show up in menus. I tried looking at the form lists and repeating how I see it done. However the new menus aren't showing up https://imgur.com/a/3c66MvD My progress is as seen here. I suspect some scripting may be required, but I have no idea how to do it. I even tried opening the robot workbench script with notpad++.

It can be made at the workbench. = Works It can be put on = Works Bodyslide = Works Now the problem When I load the save game and I have the new outfit on, I get a CTD. If I have a normal outfit on I can load the score. Can someone please give me a hint on what this can be due to. I am totally desperate. Thanks Jan

  9. Hello everyone I have some weapons from NexusMods and I want to alter the materials you get when scrapping. BUT I am an absolute noob regarding FO4Edit and don't know how to do anything whatsoever. I only managed to get rid of some unwanted chem station recipes that were added through mods. I have not found any useful tutorials on how to add or edit scrap materials of weapons. For example the weapon American 180 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/60000 gives me ten or so 5.56 ammo when scrapping for some reason and I want to edit that out. Another example, the Desert Eagle https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/43313 doesn't give any materials at all when scrapping. The DEagle should at least give me some vanilla scraps like 10mm pistol. I don't want to bother the mod creators, when I can simply edit the esp myself. So please can anyone help me on how to do that?

So i was trying to make patches so my mods would work fine with T6M's Weapons Overhaul Redux, Tactical Reload and also The creation club skins for the weapons but now in my workbench when i try to change the receiver or capacitor (energy guns) it displays all the caliber receivers even if they don't belong on the gun and when i enter that receiver submenu it causes CTD. I'm not an expert on this patching stuff so i don't know if i removed something important.   11. I have an urgent question about FLST in CNAM when creating COBJ for workbench X. The COBJs for many building objects in the workshop menu use FLST which allow the modder/creator to only setup 1 recipe which then injects multible objects (which share the same recipe). This is very handy. Now, for some reason, eventhough it works perfectly for the workshop menu, it doesnt for a workbench??? I setup a FormList with multiple MISC objects, and would like to inject this FLST into the CNAM entry of a COBJ which is part of a workbench recipe. For some reason ingame it doesnt show anything in the workbench, its just an empty recipe, im pretty sure its possible to setup, chances exist im missing something. Anyone here who can help?
  12. I've been looking for a mod that adds a 3rd interaction to the vanilla workbenches placed all over the map. Press [spacebar] to open the scrapping menu. This would be more immersive than having to walk around with a portable scrapping bench.
  13. I'm running into a CTD issue while using the Armor Workbench, specifically when I hover over or try to scrap Metal Armor pieces. My AWKCR and AE are both up-to-date. I ran LOOT to check for any errors and had it sort my load order just in case. Not sure what else to try so any suggestions are appreciated.
  14. Hi, i use a mod called "Raider Overhaul" and its updates. In this mod, there is a mask "Kabuki Mask" and another one, but they don't show up in the workbench, to add a legendary effect. I now spend the whole day comparing it to other masks or things, they do show up on the workbench, not just inventory, but no success, i can't find the issue. Can someone please help me how i can fix this problem with FO4Edit? What do i have to put where in, to let it show up, especially with armorsmith extended. thank you :)

  16. I have just over 20 hours into the game and love modding my weapons. I have Weaponsmith and AWKCR installed along with about 20 other mods but no standalone weaponry for the game. All of a sudden, without installing any other mods, every time I try to operate the weapons workbench (not the weaponsmith WB) it will CTD. I cannot figure it out. I have tried reinstalling any mods that might have any relationship to weaponry or armor but to no success. Suggestions? I have been trying different things for a couple days now and haven't seen a forum solely on the weapons workbench. Thanks!
  17. so I rather like using the scrapall command but sadly this scraps my PA station, and other crafting benches, so while there may be a mod out there that lets one do this, I unfortunately apparently suck at search terms and can't FIND it, I want to be able to pick up and store all the crafting benches in my workbench, so when I use the command, they aren't scrapped and I can place them back down without worry of not yet having the required perks to do so. I don't know modding, so I really don't know how complex this would be but it would be highly appreciated as I quite like to play with the settlement stuff, but I hate scrapping every tiny thing and hate missing things when I am scrapping all the things

I dunno if I loading wrong the weapons mods or maybe a conflict, but I can start Fallout 4 w/o any issue No crash.. Please take a look to my Load order ...   19. I'm looking for a mod that makes all settlement workshops share inventories. I don't want the "supply lines only share base materials from objects stored elsewhere" crap. I want to be able to deposit a Legendary Fatman I pull off a corpse into the Abernathy Farm workshop, and then pull it out of the workshop in Sanctuary. It would function somewhat like an Ender Chest from Minecraft if you're still looking for clarification. I've seen a ton of posts online asking for this to be made, and no one has created a solution for it. Everyone has been saying to wait for GECK to drop, and now that it has I'm hoping someone with the know-how can finally create this. Cheers! (Depending on the quality of the mod, I may be willing to ahem sweeten the pot for the person who makes it :wink: )

Hi everyone, Quite new to modding, I've just downloaded the Creation Kit beta (though I have played around in FO4Edit too) and wanted to make a little mod that would allow a player to craft Food Paste on the Chemistry Workbench. However, I cannot find any way in the settings of how to do this, no way to state what materials are necessary and which workbench it can be crafted on. I tried looking at other craftable items in the list such as Berry Mentats and Buffout but there is no indication or setting there which would suggest that it's craftable. I've seen many mods out there which include craftable items, so I guess there must a way of doing it - I just don't know how. Any help would be much appreciated, Thank you Michael
  21. I have seen videos with the weapon shown in color at the work bench when it is being worked on instead of the HUD color outline. Does anyone know if it is a mod that does this or is it something in the settings?
  22. The title of the post says it all, Fallout crashes to desktop after merely mousing over a double barreled shotgun in the weapon workbench. I can't seem to track this issue anywhere else and I can't see a cause for this seeing as the weapon isn't modded nor does it have any added mod options. Also even inspecting the weapon in my inventory leads to crashing. any feedback is greatly appreciated!
  23. Is there a console command that can be directed toward the workbenches in Home Plate, Mechanist Lair, and the Airport that can unlock ALL workbench options? There are certain options that are unavailable that I've discovered, mostly in resources, can't place garden plots, nor food items for example. I know... some people are thinking "Why garden plots in these locations?" Because... *ponders for a few seconds*.... imagination! lol. =^_^= There's already a mod for home plate... but I'd like the option to have all of the workbenches unlocked to full potential.
  24. I don't have many mods and it started after I downloaded Homemaker. It's the latest version and everything. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times but it's the same. There are several missing menu categories in workshop mode, including but not limited to lights except for misc, and furniture except for misc chairs. I'm pretty sure my .ini files are all correct, too, and I can't find much on Google besides that. Any help would be appreciated.
  25. Need a mod that changes the Junk category into Salvage category. In pip-boy, in shops, in workbench etc, plus store all salvage, not store all junk. Because it isn't junk, its valuable salvage.
