  1. so basically im having trouble with some texts. the image speaks for itself. I´ve downloaded somje mod and engine fixes but it didn´t solve this
  2. Title. My Mod Staging Folder is D:\Vortex Mods\bladeandsorcery, while my Blade and Sorcery install is also on D Drive. However, when I attempt to play with them, they just straight up don't appear. I have no inclination that the game even recognize their existence. Any fixing this?
  3. I am at a loss here, my laser weapons work fine, but my plasma weapons will not shoot anything, no orbs, nothing. Here is my load order, I had been trying to see if it was animation mods or recoil mods, but I have had no such luck in my endeavors.   4. Whenever I try to launch Skyrim SE, the game always crashes on the Bethesda logo. The primary issue seems to be that I keep getting an error that says "Some of the enabled plugins depend on others that are not enabled: TransformativeElixirs.esp depends on RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp" (marked nsfw because CBBE is an nsfw mod). However, whenever I try to look for the specific esp file the game needs, I can't find any way to download it. I've tried searching different forums but nothing seems to have worked thus far so I'm turning here.

  6. Hey i have an issue with XPMSE.esp Loot is telling me that XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended - XPMSE needs an MCM by installing SkyUI SE which i already have downloaded and added on. Why is it telling me to get a mod i already have installed?
  7. Hello all. I'm trying to figure out how to use the animals currently in Skyrim and make them animals you can ride, but I having some trouble with locating them in Creation Kit. I didn't really want to make another topic in the hundreds that our out there, but I was unsuccessful in finding one that helped me, so apologies. Anywho, The animals that I want to focus on are Elk, the Elk with moose antlers, mammoths and cows, but I can't find them, let alone figure out how to make them mountable and able to store things. I have found a "Mammoth", but it's in the Static tab, so I'm assuming it's not the one I need. Thanks to all who help me. :blush: EDIT: I seem to have found the actual actors of the animals. Now I just need help on how to make them mountable and have storage.
  8. I have tried countless times to play this game and every time the same thing happens. I get to various points within the opening house and the game crashes my pc completely, and I have to turn it off. The Mods I have installed are; MGE EX, UI Expansion, Better Bodies 3.2 (Better Beasts), Better Dialogue Font, Official Plugins, Patch for Purists, MSE, MCP Skunk works, And MCP. I also have Better Sign posts but disabled it because it was causing problems. I don't know if anyone uses this forum but any help is appreciated.
  9. Hey! First time asking a community about something, but I don't really know any way to fix this weird problem and I was hoping someone could help me. You see i'm pretty new to Skyrim AE mods, and after downloading a few through Nexus as well as the Creation Club, I have encountered this problem where none of the creatures seem to have AI. The people are completely fine, but things like the spiders, rabbits, and falmer are just broken. yeah you can hurt and kill them, but they're not moving or attacking. Anyone smarter and\or more experienced than me have any info on why this is happening?

Vortex Version: 1.9.10 Electron: 25.8.4 Node: 18.15.0 Chrome: 114.0.5735.289 Mods in total: 146 mods (4 currently activated) Windows Version: Windows 11 Home Installed RAM: 32.0GB System Type: 64-bit / x64 My Issue: Despite manually setting my directory path to G:\Skyrim Anniversary Edition, it doesn't launch my GOG Skyrim and instead I'm stuck with the error message: "Executable doesn't exist, please check the configuration for the tool you tried to start." This is referring to my Steam Skyrim which I have uninstalled awhile ago and I've gotten rid of it's executable containing Skyrim Special Edition for Steam. G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common still exists cuz that's where Baldur's Gate 3 is in and I might want to mod it one day lol. The recent Skyrim update that occurred on the 5th of December last year was so frustrating for me, that's why I gotten rid of my Steam Skyrim as I'm unable to play it! Yes, I've downloaded mods many people from the community claimed to be working for them, but not for me so hench I cut my losses. One thing I forgot to do when uninstalling Steam Skyrim was to manually get rid of all my mods I played for previously, if I gotta get rid of all of them so be it, I would love a clean start anyways. UPDATE: I don't know how to feel about this. I exited Vortex, then got onto it again and then I find my GOG SKSE64 2.2.3 has now decided to load in, my game launched normally and to make things even awesome, I've activated the mod Alternate Start - Live Another Life to see if everything is actually working out for the first time in awhile and lo and behold, the mod works!! The downside is I keep getting a message (from the mod (Part 1) SSE Engine Fixes probably being the culprit...) that couldn't load a plugin and me continuing to load my game involves lost save data and such and such, fun... I've being told that I shouldn't really worry about this as this mod in question has yet to be updated but I don't know, I might have to keep digging in my own time if me losing my save data could occur and I wouldn't want that in my new playthrough!! Anyways, thank you for putting up with my rambling and if anyone has any useful information to provide me, this is what Vortex forums is all about.
  11. I'm having this issue, and I've seen many others have this issue with slight differences that do not apply to my situation. Which has really left me stumped. I want to create a simple collision mesh for the Christmas Tree. I copy the Collision information from the Flagpole asset to the Christmas Tree. I import it to CK into a static obect, test by Havok dropping a baby carriage on it. It proves successful. Launch Game. Nothing is there. No model, no texture, no collision. Troubleshoot continuosly to the degree that I import the unedited nif of the christmas tree into a new static object. It too does not show up in game either. ??? If importing an unedited asset from the game itself back into the game is facing the same issue, what is the issue ??? I have seen many others have similar issues but with custom armors which involve bones, weights, and skin- But the Christmas Tree has literally 0 bones. Am I missing something? This is making me feel insane and that Todd Howard is gangstalking me.
  12. I've been playing with a good bit of mods without issue for 300+ hours now, but recently my girlfriend wanted to start a new save with just us. So I disabled all my mods, but it still wouldn't let us play, saying we had a different mod version. Long story short, I deleted everything in my mod folder as a temporary solution. I know I should've kept them in a backup folder just in case, but I was frustrated and figured I could just reinstall everything later when I go back to playing solo. Which I was able to do, except now when I try to load an old save it says "The following mods were enabled on save, but are now disabled: DiceSet_06. Your game may be unstable as a result - do you want to continue?". I have no idea what DiceSet_06 is. Pressing continue doesn't do anything. I have 2 mods for dice, Dice Set Expansion by Koriik and Infernal Dice by SeanConnorX0, by neither of those seem to have a pak file for DiceSet_06. Any suggestions on where I can find and download this specific file? Edit: I figured it out, but I'll leave this post up in case someone else goes googling for it later. DiceSet_06 is the golden dice added with patch 5 for beating honour mode. I don't know why it is included as a mod, but the only way to get this file back after deleting is to reinstall the base game and it will automatically be downloaded again. I was able to load my save up no problem.
  13. Common "Visual" Problems Floating Heads: If you just have a floating head, invisible hair or invisible weapon, there can be several possible issues. Missing the model, if it is a mod that requires another mod because it contains an import model for example, and you forgot to download this required mod—you will get this error. Conflicting with another ItemVariation.gda file. Missing the ItemVariation.gda file. The Model is not set for that gender or race. Missing the UTI. Undressed/Naked NPCs: If you have undressed/naked NPCs, there are a couple possible issues. The UTI the NPC is equipped with was gender/race/etc. restricted, and the item was forced into inventory. Why would this happen? A mistake in the Toolset or an Item Variation conflict. The UTI file is buried too deep in your folders, if the file path exceeds a certain amount of characters it won't pull up the file. Blank White Texture or Silver Face: If your item is a blank white texture. Or if the character has a silver or light blue face. You are missing the tint or .dds file, perhaps a missing required mod. A typo or error in the MAO file*. * A commonly known problem with the Viva la Orlais including a W_SHD_TWRb.mao file version (which is blank and contains no data) in the Emperor Shield folder. Distorted Models at a Distance: You are using a mod that only has the basic levels of details, and the extended lods at a distance don't exist. You either tolerate it or remove the mod and hope a modder upgrades the lods for these models in the future. Example: Kirkwall Exports has these upgrades Fixes and improvements for Kirkwall Exports, Keeper and Merrill outfit fixes, etc. Fade Shapeshifting Forms Warped: You are using a custom MOR file, this will distort your Shapeshifting forms that have a separate head. This cannot be avoided unless you remove your custom MOR via DAS file, while in the Fade: Lost in Dreams. Missing Heads: You are missing the MOR file. Common "Gameplay" Problems Crashing in Denerim Market: Crashing most commonly in Denerim Market, but generally can be fixed with LAA Patch (4 GB Patch). Attribute Points Doubling: You may have too many mods installed (in the addins) that are calling up module_core.nsc script. This can cause double or more of attribute points when allocating during level up. How to tell? Check your installed mod's CIF file, CAMPAIGN_CIF_ENTRY_SCRIPT, see how many use module_core. Stuck at... The Attack at Nightfall (Redcliffe at Night), Hold the Gates (Denerim Climax), etc. quests not completing. Either you have a missing/stuck hostile or you have a no corpse decay mod (an APR_base.gda mod) and are missing the required scripts/assets to bypass this issue. Ref: No Decaying Corpses by SpaceAlex should have all the required files/assets to fix this. Other Enabling Console for Steam: For some reason it is trickier to enable console for Steam users who have the Ultimate Edition. UPDATED - Enabling the console in the Steam version of DA:O Ultimate Edition.

I am trying to install the 50 Shades of Rudy - ReShaded Rudy ENB for CoT https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10759 But to get reshade to work i have to change the name of the dxgi.ini and .dll to d3d11. This makes it not possible to install enb series... since that has a file called d3d11. when the the reshade file is called dxgi, it crashes on startup.
  15. So I'm trying to run a few UI/HUD editing mods together, and because not all of them are covered under Unified HUD, they aren't cooperating. Mods Used: User Interface Organizer NVSE Mod Configuration Menu JIP LN NVSE Plugin One HUD Project Nevada/DLC/Extra Options Solid Project (Companion Wheel and Quick Equip Wheel) Weapons Name Display The Weapon Mod Menu The HUDs from Project Nevada and Solid Project are working as intended. The adjustable and immersive HUDs from one HUD, as well as the weapons name display, are not. I can't even interact with them in MCM. Most of the check marks do nothing when I click on them, and the adjustable parts do nothing when I try to move them around. I'm flexible if some of them have to be removed because they absolutely won't work together, I'm just frustrated because I'm not sure where the problem is. I've also tried to make a patch in FNVedit and none of them are interested in it.
  16. Hiya, so I am...PAINFULLY new to PC gaming and modding. I recently downloaded NMM because I had heard it was relatively easy to get into. However, I've been having a lot of issues with the client. Unfortunately...I can't upload the pictures here because they're apparently too big, but I get to the selection screen where you choose the game you want to manage mods for, and then the program just never pops up. Yet it says it's running in the background. When I tried to uninstall it, it just kept saying to close the program even though it wasn't showing up anywhere on my screen. No icon, no options, nothing. Yes I know I am being extremely vague. I am extremely new to PC gaming. Any help at all would be appreciated.
  17. So, a while ago I stopped playing SSE, which was lightly modded. I did not have many mods to begin with, and all but a few mods have been uninstalled, and yet the first person combat animations are offset from the camera. Originally, I thought the Joy of Perspective mod had changed first person animations, but I reinstalled that with vanilla animations, and the problem is still occurring. I believe that I originally installed Joy of Perspective with the 3rd person mods installed, and selecting vanilla animations only keeps the mod from writing over the animations that are in the directory. Is there any way to reset the Skyrim directory completely? Otherwise, is there a mod or something that can restore the standard (or similar) first person combat animations? btw I tried to upload a picture of the issue, but Nexus says the file size is too big and I'm too lazy to fix that problem. If that picture is needed, I'll add it. EDIT: Even though I don't think anyone read this to begin with, I managed to fix the problem by installing the XP32 skeleton. Not sure the technical stuff behind it, but it worked.
  18. Okay so I am having a bit of difficulty with getting Fallout 3 to work correctly. It seems that whatever method I go through, nor however many guides I read, or mod pages it seems Fallout 3 either CTD on start up (no text on start menu) or ILS when selecting a new or loading a game. I've done a vanilla start up of the game made it all the way to arefu, (was doing blood ties quest and died from explosion.) I patched it with Large Address Awareness, did the newb install of UUF3P, all mods and patches and mods are the up to date versions. PC specs: Windows 10 64-bit versionAthlon II X4 635 2.90 OC16 GB RAM4 GB VRAMRadeon settings are set to application What I did:- Ran LOOT to order majority, then closed- Used xEdit to clean necessary mods, then closed- Ran Wrye Flash to manually rder mods according to mod pages, created bashed patch, then closed- Reran xEdit to verify and Generate LOD. Can anyone tell me if I missed something here? I'm not new to modding as I modded Skyrim and it runs pretty good with 200 mods active, but first go around with Fallout series. Could use the help.   19. Hi guys, i'm totally new with modding(never done it before). This time i tried to use mod in skyrim SE and have some troubles. I download Nexus and Loot, installed mods. But it didn't work. I read back about those requirements of mods and found that i need some mods to run the mod i want. And then, every mods require that i need have more mods require, and there are a lots. Like i'm trying to mod Daedric Reaper Armor, and it need UUNP Daedric reaper bodyslide, and this UUNP mod need Bodyslide 2 and outfit studio, and that Bodyslide 2 need a lot of other mods. So, do i need to down all those mods ?

  21. I installed Vortex this evening as I could no longer get Mod Organiser working for Skyrim SE. When I loaded it up, I saw that it had found all four installations on my PC: Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim and Skyrim SE. When I'd given up on Skyrim SE for the evening (for unrelated reasons), I switched back to playing Morrowind. At that time I found that the game no longer responded to my keyboard inputs - but the computer still recognised them outside of that (e.g. Ctrl-Alt-Del, Alt-F4 etc). I've tried running the game out of Wrye Mash, the native launcher and Vortex. I've tried uninstalling Vortex and then, when that didn't work, reinstalling it. I'd honestly like to just disentangle Vortex from my Morrowind installation and get back to playing it as it was before - stable and perfectly functional. This is my first post and I am currently working on learning scripting in Creation Kit, and whenever I attempt to compile my script while creating a new event, it says that CustomEvent does not exist. I'm looking for a full list of kill-move animations ranging from usable weapons to creature victory kill-moves ((Including mid-battle melee's like slides, throwdowns, kicks, trips, even deathclaw throws and bloodbug sucks)) Reason I ask this is I could've sworn there is an animation for deathclaws fighting feral ghouls and shoving their claw semi-horizontally into their stomach and another kill move where a deathclaw just outright stomps on a mole rat killing it. If you can spot those and verify it I will appreciate it and also list all the kill-moves you guys are aware of and place it in .txt file so I can look through them. Much obliged, cheers.
  24. For reference: https://streamable.com/ed3w8 Dead bodies just lie on the ground, yet play the standing mt_idle animation, and don't respond to dragging or pushing them around.   25. For some unknown reason, every time I download a mod, it seems to put them into 2 separate storage's I have on my computer. I specifically made sure that my mods would go into the drive with the most available room, but for some unknown reason, it tries to download onto my other drive, which is already full of other applications. Can anyone tell me why it does this, and if there is a possible way to fix it? When I tried to look into it, it completely broke vortex and froze my computer, forcing me to restart. When I rebooted my computer, it said it was "repairing your drives, please wait" as if something in it broke. I'd very much like assistance with this if anyone is able.
