  1. Finally managed to make my first NPV. But one issue, the pants aren't tucked in. How do i fix this? I read through the wiki. Just don't seem to wrap my head around this. The garment score of the boots are higher than the pants. So I don't see why it still does that. Am I missing something? The pants and shoes are from base game.

So I'm coming to you to see if anyone has also encountered this same issue and has been able to identify which mod or mods are causing this issue where NPCs with dialog get stuck in this loop and I can't continue the conversation or the quest.   3. Hey guys! Just dove in to the Alpha, and I've already run into a problem: Stardew isn't showing up as installed. I have a clean install of Stardew, as instructed, and I'm using the AppImage version on Fedora. Steam is installed through Flatpak. System info: OS: Fedora Linux 40 Workstation Edition x86-64 Kernel: Linux 6.9.5-200.fac40.x86-64 DE: Gnome 46.2 CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT Memory: 32G I attached the nexus app log file; not really sure how to parse it myself, and any tips to help me in the future would be appreciated! nexusmods.app.main.current.log
  4. I got a message today telling me I have an invalid staging file because it is in my game directory. Even though it has been working for a long time, I only got the message today. So I tried to change the directory, but every time Vortex would ask me to give access to a certain file. I did give it every time but it doesn't work and I would get a message telling me Vortex doesn't have access. What I did was reboot my laptop every time, afterwards the file in question would somehow be deleted. After several times, the mods are finally moving. But this time I'm told directories are not writable. I've tried different files in different drivers, it never works. My system is win10. Please help!
  5. Please check the Vortex Diagnostics file attached in this post. It is not very long. First time in a while with using Vortex. Last time must've been months ago for Enderal: Special Edition. Still in the same OS, same computer configurations, etc. Here was the result as soon as I set up Fallout: New Vegas into Vortex (brand new installation of both Vortex and F:NV - Failed to update masterlist - Failed to load master-/userlist --- Windows 11. Firewall disabled. Windows Security, everything inside of it that can be disabled has been turned off. Threats history checked every now and then, with no new additions. My network in regards to about anything else in my computer has no issue whatsoever. No additional anti-virus is installed. No additional firewall is installed. Vortex has been re-installed now several times in the last few hours, with its remaining files deleted and also not deleted on some of the other attempts, to no avail. Both the Vortex installation folder and the choice of storage drive into which Vortex was installed was different on each attempt (there were several attempts.) ---------------------------------------- OS: Windows 11, updated to its latest version.   6. I have discovered an issue after thinking I had finally fixed my load order. Whenever I fast travel the loading screen just keeps going infinitely. It doesn't crash or freeze, just keeps on spinning. When I was going around the map during load order optimization I fast travelled without issue, but since then I have added about 120 mods before trying to fast travel, so I have no idea where to start looking. I think it might be script-related because when I teleport myself with console commands everything is fine and dandy. I also started a new save because I messed around with the load order on my old one, to exclude that as a possible cause. Fast travel seemed to work fine on the new save until I discovered Concord and tried to fast travel back to Sanctuary. If needed I can post my modlist! So if anybody could point me into a direction with regards what to check in xEdit or what mods could cause such a random issue, I'd be very grateful!
  7. I can never find out why the heck this always happens. For some reason if I have a certain amount of mods, random mods stop working. Right now I have 410 mods enabled (most of my plugins being esl's). If I add more a weird thing happens where a select few enabled mods after that amount will work and half of them won't. I have a bunch of bug fixes enabled right now, for example in image 1 I have these and a bunch of other plugins enabled. If I enable one more mod it'll start bugging out and breaking things, causing buffout to open. Image 2 shows the amount of ESMs, ESPs, ESMs + ESPs, and ESLs. There should be no problem I'm pretty sure but once I enabled let's say Jet Script bug fix (may I mind you it can be any mod I have installed) even though it has no esp or anything, it'll crash and buffout will open. Now let's say I disable all of the stuff in example 1 and have all of what's highlighted in Example 3, everything works fine (ignore Nuka World Shoppers Paradise, That I always have enabled due to Synthesis). If I even enable anything that is disabled in example 3 (let's say adobe house kit), it'll start crashing again. I've had this issue before and I can never figure out why this happens. Is it because the plugins I eslified are still somehow counting as esps and it's thinking I'm at the 254 limit? But then that wouldn't make sense now that I think about it cause the jet fix has no ESPs or anything and if I enable that even with any of these examples, buffout 4 will still open saying the game crashed. So it must be something else. If anyone has any ideas please tell me. This issue makes me lose my mind sometimes. (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻
  8. As the title suggests, I'm having an issue with my modded Fallout 4 where every 10mm pistol is invisible. I've disabled pretty much all of my weapon mods and it's still the same issue.

  10. Basically, I created my own modlist using mods from the Project Skyrim modpack but much much smaller because I don't have the time to download 2k mods. I went through each and every one to ensure that I had all the required dependencies and patches in. Initially, I had a bunch of dll issues that I was able to solve, and now I can get into the main menu fine. As soon as i press new game, i see the loading screen for like 15 seconds and then my game crashes. I installed crashlogger and crashlog interpreter to help me, but it can't find any issues except for NordicUI conflicting with a True Directional Movement Patch, but I haven't had either installed on this. I could really use some help on this. I will attach a picture of all my mods, the crash log, and the crashlog interpreter file.   11. Hello, I'm having an issue where any mods I put in the Baldurs Gate 3 -> Data -> Generated folder are not showing up in-game. I have triple checked the file pathing and file names. Nothing I do is making these mods show up. I currently only have one mod "installed" in this folder, but I have tried using others one at a time (so that none conflict) and nothing is loading at all. I've checked several forums now and all of them just say someone fixed it, but they don't say how. I am going crazy not knowing how to solve this problem. Any help is appreciated.

Hi everyone i have this problem after patch 5: if i remove a mod from the order (using mod manager) the game do not load the saved game, i clik "continue" and nothing happens at all. only way for me to play is not remove mods. So how can i do if i want change mod or stop use it? Someone have any idea to fix it? Depends from script extender? I have v11 of it, the last (or the game not start). I tried do it with more mods but all give me this issue, i can play for now but i want solve this in case i want change my mods in the future.... The game actually advise me that 1 mod is disable, but before the patch it load the game and all go fine, after patch not happen..
  13. I've noticed suddenly my downloads from CDN are ridicously slow, ranging from 0B/s to 24KB/s.Looking on the forum i've noticed many users are complaining about this issue too... I am aware about the restriction for non premium users but 24KB/s is way below that restriction. Any admin have a workaround for this or know how to solve this issue??   14. Hello everyone :geek: Time ago i got this question... :confused: ¿Is better 8 mods or 1 big mod? Im asking this because i saw merged mods and im asking myself if is better had many mods or merged this mods in 1 big one... I know is better to find and activate the mods in 1, but im asking about the speed of the mod or about his functionality in the game or perfomance.
  15. The Pinto plant is a miracle. Meshes appear to be alright even if I don't have much idea about them, but I installed NifSkope to compare it with meshes of other harvestable plants (activators). They have a "Forward" and "Backward" model similar as the Pinto plant. And in NifSkope it seems that the Pinto plant perfectly works when switching between Forward and Backward. However, ingame the change doesn't work. This is already an issue in the base game with vanilla Pinto plant activators.   16. I've been trying to download mods for Skyrim SE (obviously lmao) but, when I click "download with NMM" on ANY mod on the nexus, it doesnt work at all. The dialogue doesnt pop up asking to open NMM and when I click the actual "download" button, nothing happens. I'm using the lastest version of NMM and I'm logged in on both the web browser and the NMM application. I've have never had this issue up until very recently. Are there any fixes for this? I'd really rather not install something like Firefox just to download mods. Thanks in advance for the help xx
  17. Hello, I am currently working on a mod to change the In Broad Daylight perk to the below effect. In Broad Daylight - Pipboy light radius is increased by x4. Sneak buff still applies (value increased from +15 sneak to +60 sneak while light is enabled). Reduced Level requirement to 22. I have had no issues modifying the perk's sneak buff to account for the new radius or changing the level requirement as those are very easy to modify. I am having an issue binding the light's radius (the magnitude of the PipBoyLIght spell) to the perk. Increasing the radius is easy, just set the magnitude to 60 on a new spell. The problem is binding the action of turning on the light (holding the pipboy key) to check for the perk. I am not sure where this is controlled in the GECK. I considered writing a new script to control the light,but I am not sure how to determine what the player's action mapping for the pipboy is to figure out if the light should be turned on. If I were to write a new script I would need to still know how to disable the default piplight. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.
  18. I recently purchased this Vault tech Workshop Crap expansion, because a few really good mods Needed all DLC's for some stupid reason. Now that i have it i wanted to build something like a Gym in my settlement so my guys can work out on occasion or whatever. but i hear that the exercise bike will kill my settlers if they use them. thats, f*#@'in Stupid, is there a fix for this? And if i HAVE TO do that stupid Vault Quest to even unlock the exercise equipment i hear that whatever you choose the bikes to do (Zap the settler and eventually kill him or release a sweet fragrance or something?) during the quest will be permanent, and you can't change it afterwards. is that true? What do i have to do to make it so the bike doesn't kill my settlers in non vault settlements like Sanctuary?. Can i kill the overseer of that vault? if not is there a mod that allows you to do it? or even can i turn that vault into a tomb? and seal it and never have to open it again? because f*#@ VTW >:/
  19. Hello Everyone. Not sure this is the right place to post this, but im losing my mind over this. Here's the issue: I, along with some other people, have recently tried to install a bunch of mods for Skyrim Special Edition. Same old same old, installing mods through nexus, activating them, checking for incompatiblity and conflicting mods, organizing the load order through LOOT, all that. And everything seems fine- no problems whatsoever, everything correctly installed and ready to go. But then, when i launch skyrim SE ( Through SKSE obviously - wich is also correctly installed, it shows up on the ''GetSKSEVersion'' console command) the mods simply aren't there- they just dont appear in the game. As far as i have seen ( only going through the first mission), there are only 2 mods that are showing up, or ''working'' and those are -Total Character Makeover- and some main menu music replacer by Yggdrasil if im not mistaken. So, as soon as i see this, i think something must be wrong, so i go and check the Skyrim SE DATA folder in the Skyrim SE directory, and ALL the mods are showing up there, everything looks fine. all BSA and loose files and everything shows up, so i get confused. I go to the nexus mod manager to check if everything is intalled and plugins are active, and they are! so once again, i try launching skyrim through SKSE ( this also happens when i launck skyrim se through steam btw) but this time i launch it through NMM. Same thing happens. So, just to make sure, i go to the MODS section in game when you press ESC, and even in game it shows up every mod is installed! even the game KNOWS is there, but somehow they just dont work, dont appear, dont function, almost like they are NOT activated. I've tried searching for this but only some people who reported this issue in forums tried basic stuff and none of them or none of the people helping could find a solution. I'm getting really mad at this, specially because i've been modding for years now and there wasn't many issues apart from the common ones and those i was able to fix. Does someone know a way to fix this? I appreciate the reading. Hope someone helps me. Just for the record, i have abou 97 mods installed. The game doesn't even crash or anything, it just doesnt show the mods working in game.
  20. My vortex manager is blurry like low resolution, when I move my mouse over the blurriness it goes away to a different place. This started happening after I reinstalled it two days ago. Looked up the issue online and couldn't find anything related to it.
  21. hello everyone, i'm french but i will try to make this topic in English x) So since the last update, vortex don't want anymore to let the mod folder into the game folder. So the deployement doesn't works anymore too ! One notification tells me to move the mod folder away from the game folder, and the other one tells me that the deployement method only works if the mod folder is in the game folder. Help me please, i can't play anymore D: !

Hello i have the issue that if i unequip the weapon get really oversized for example a 1H sword has the size of a 2H sword same goes for bow ,daggers, shield and so on i have read already so many topics about this nobody seems to have a solution some said it is cursed by ECE or Racemenu , SoS . nada don't see why these should curse the problem another one said skeleton_female.nif file alone would handle the weapon scale but i have no itdea how to fix this file if that would be the case i tryed some many times to reinstall mods that could have something to do with it but nope . I have no clue what else i can try So these things i allready tryed : uninstall ECE and run Racemenu installed several compatible patches that where recommented Like RacemenuCompatiblityCBBE or XP32 MSE for SOS but they also changed nothing .   23. I finished making my first quest, but it doesn't seem to ever start. I checked with SQV command and found out that it does actually start and can even go through stages, it just doesn't show anything to the player. It seems to show all the IDs for the alias correctly, so it maybe that the culprit is the papyrus script fragments not initializing. Some of the fragments have other functions in them that also don't fire, so I tried Recompile All Papyrus Scripts with no results. Here are some screenshots of my quest window and the fragment script it's using. I spent the whole day looking around and found no answers. They usually fixed the issue by fixing some obvious scripting mistakes, or because an alias wasn't setup right. I am almost certain though that there is nothing unusual with my quest setup. Can someone help me out? I would appreciate it.
  24. DISCLAIMER: I'm not good at modding or anything, so bear with me. So I spawned in a ghost (e.g. ghost adventurer 000515f5) and after about 20 seconds or so their bodies completely lose the blue "ghostly" effect for some reason. I've posted my load order below in case anyone can figure out why, I've tried disabling a bunch of mods to see if it'll fix it but I'm genuinely clueless. I've also attached a screenshot of the issue so you get the idea. I am also using an enb (SkyrimSE RE-Engaged) but that appears to have nothing to do with it. Problem - Despite my specs, Plugin and mod organizing, patches and fixes, my performance in game is still pretty low despite people with lower specs able to run more mods than me, easier and more stable. I run around 40-50 avg. with all mods enabled, with ENB. ultra settings at 2k. dropping as low as 30 from time to time. There was a point i ran 60fps locked, dropping lowest to 55fps in whiterun. this was with my ENB as well i believe. this was right before finishing my modlist. but it's been a while. so im not entirely sure. I'll also mention i tried using BethINI as well. which only worked when i set my settings to low, turning off nearly all effects. but with mods i have around 55-60. My main goal is to have it run 55-60fps average, 2k ultra settings, with the majority of my mods. maybe a few more later down the road. mostly cosmetic. but i've tried all the basics, Organizing, plugin fixes, Fps improving mods, nothing has worked.
