  1. Hello everyone, how do face overhaul mods manage to come with such a smooth/high poly face? I'm currently using UNP + Mature skin, texture-wise it's damn good, but at the chin, for example, the low poly is very obvious, is there any mods I'm missing? ive tried High poly head mod, but it gives weird bugs to brows/hairs

Hello I don't know how to make races for the creation kit and I would like education especially with the fact I have 3 new races in my mod (Highfell) They are: Leal (The Spanish Race) they are very brave and excellent thieves. there increased skills are pickpocket, lock picking, sneaking, speech, and smithing, but they are weaker in block. This race is a thief's dream race. Jagoda (The Croatian Race) they are the main gypsies of tamriel. they love using fabrics on their buildings making all Jagoda occupied areas quite colourful. They have higher stamina, restoration magic, destruction magic, and they have increased alchemy, but they are weaker in two handed as well as a slight bit less in Illusion magic. And Direnni (Mediterranean French Race Also with elven ears) they have much higher stamina one handed and two handed skills but are much weaker in health making them deal the most damage possible in the least amount of time, this race is good to have as a follower. For these to become a reality I need to learn how to make races. I need to learn first how to do face meshes before I can make my races. If anyone can help with quests to it would be great!
  3. Hi, i want to create 2 mods. I have some experience from my Fallout 4 times. I will again create a similar mod as for Fallout 4 - Young Lara Croft 1) Some face presets for the player character loadable via one of the basic ingame presets for female. I have created some presets but dont want it to do by slider pictures. A loadable *.ESM file that countains the created face on female preset slot x in the character reation menu whould be so nice. in Fallout 4 times there was a tool Faceripper that help me to create a mod like this. Here i was trying to do it with xEdit. I found the female presets and created a new file with copy as override into. After that i was changing the face part data to that of my actual character. I added the file to Starfield/Data and enabled it via Plugins.txt Enablder. But the preset was not changing. I'm not sure what data I need to replace so that it is correctly included in the *.ESM. 2) A face replacer for Sarah Morgen or Andreja. I have changed the faces of Andreja and Sarah Morgen in my actual save game (via capp console command). Now i try to create a *.ESM file with the changed faces (copy as override into) with the changed faces to the original data but with a newgame+ run the faces are vanilla again. Any idea to fix that? Can anyone show me where the face/head Data are stored in the xEdit files? I think there are vanilla defaults from the base game and a Reference to the loaded savegame. Because i can have more save games with different Andeja faces. But the face information has to be saved anywhere. the FormID 59A7 will be the vanilla default... Can anybody help my with that?   4. Hello, at the moment I am concerned about the possibility of creating followers with a cusmtom head (not racemenu and high poly head), a head made from photographs or ported from another game. I have some work in the form of .obj files of heads from facegen and facebuilder in blender. I'm already tired of looking for a guide to creating a head for Skyrim. Maybe you can tell me?
  5. Hey all, I've been trying to port my custom face model into the game but I'm running into an issue of which I can't figure out how to fix. I suspect that it's the armature getting messed up when exporting from blender, but I just don't konw what the hell the problem is, export settings are all default. Also for some reason the ears don't get parented to the armature despite having done so in blender (Parent to Armature) I didn't do much to edit the armature from the game, just slightly moved the eyes bones. I'm using Blender 3.6.5
  6. TLDR: My unique supermutant's new face textures don't work and just appear as the vanilla supermutant textures in the creation kit and in game. Help! Much longer, did read: So I'm trying to create a unique blue supermutant character for a mod. I went through the process of editing the vanilla textures, creating new material files that get their diffuse information from these new textures and then duplicating the vanilla skin, armor addon, and head parts to create unique variants for my character. The body and eyes were simple enough to create new variants of. I simply made copies of the vanilla armor addon and head part and then redirected the model to my new materials using material swaps in the creation kit. The face however seems to work differently. I made a unique version of the head part and used a material swap to tell it to use my new materials but in the creation kit and in-game the npc still has the vanilla, green face. I've tried the following fixes, none of which have worked: -Regenerating the face-gen textures and meshes with ctrl+f4. -Duplicating the vanilla supermutant face mesh and redirecting the material path to my new materials in nifskope. -Creating a texture set file in the creation kit and then directing to it in the head part settings. I'm totally lost on this one, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Could someone please point me to where the 1 to 15 preset faces are in the PC code? I want to substitute a couple of faces but, after days(literally) of looking I have yet to find the list. I know it exists somewhere but I cannot find it. Please help. Some of the faces given to the players are not what I want and have the faces to make replacements. I hope someone can assist me.   8. Hello everyone. Here is a problem I really need help with. Any NPC in my current Skyrim build has a mix of annoying troubles with their faces. Doesn't matter if it's vanilla NPC, modded vanilla NPC or NPC added by mod. I can't realy say what's the source of the problem, though I have some guesses. I've ran into this bug after I moved from Nexus Mod Manager to Mod Organizer. As I sad, this is a mix of Skyrim face bugs: NPC face color mismatch bug. NPCs with custom face meshes don't have correct one. NPC facetint bug.I've tried to fix theese bugs separately: reinstalled related mod many times, resolved any found cosmetic mod incompatabilities, exported FaceGenData (something is wrong with it too, I'll provide extra information about it if needed.) but nothing of it helped. Here is some screenshots to show you what is happening. Pic #1: Normal modded vanilla NPC (Bijin Warmaidens) with no face glitches on them. This is happening when I load saved game right after Skyrim launched. Pic #2: Same NPCs just a few seconds after with face glitch applied. This is happening when I change world cells (e.g fast travel/walk in/out of a house/dungeon/e.t.c.) or reload the saved game while playing. Pic #3: Vanilla unmodded NPC without glitch. Same situation as on Pic #1. Pic #4: Same NPC after reloading saved game while playing. Pic #5: NPC added by mod. Same situation as on Pic #1. Pic #6: Same NPC after changing cell. Can this be a reason? I have some guesses about glitch source though.I did something wrong with my Mod Organizer or game configs. I haven't ran into this bug when I was using Nexus Mod Manager.CITUS Head meshes mod caused itSkyrim/PC just can't handle all the mods.PC rig: Intel Core I5 2300 4x2.8 GHz ASUS GTX 1060 6GB 16 GB DDR3 1333 MHz Win 10 Pro I will provide any extra information if needed.   9. So I have an .npc from Oldrim generated with the "spf" console command. With Oldrim, if I wanted to apply said face to a new character, I could open up the CK, go to the race presets, import the face (to say an Imperial female preset 1), then save the .esp. Then I could put the new .esp in my load order, fire up a save with the character I wanted to apply the face to, choose the appropriate preset and Presto! I'd have the face I wanted. But with Skyrim SE this process no longer works - at least when trying to apply an .npc file from Oldrim. If I try to import the .npc file into CK64, it appears to work and I can save the .esp, but in-game I only see the vanilla presets. So how can I import an Oldrim character's face into Skryim SE?

  12. Howdy ! I am using a mod which have a regeneration spell from doctor who. The spell itself is script based ( hope its the right word for it lol ), and at the end, it brings up the racemenu. I looked into it, it brings up the racemenu by : Game.ShowRaceMenu() Is there a way to change this to bringing up not this race menu but the race menu the face sculptor use ? The only reason I wish to do this because I have created a race which use that regeneration spell and it is useless to change race anyway lol plus I don't wish to retype my name every time. I hope you guys can help me, I have tried to look for the code in the internet but I just couldn't find how to refer to the face sculptor's racemenu instead of the basic racemenu.   13. So im trying to replay the original game with mods, and while i can get everything else to work fine, i cannot get my character to look good. Ive installed the required mods for the different models, but each and every one of them come out ugly AF. Might this have something to do with not having any DLC?
  14. I've been trying to unsuccessfully export my character's face from Skyrim SE back to Oldrim so I can play with some older mods. The usual method I've used in the past with Oldrim just doesn't seem to work. Normally I'd open the console in game, type 'spf <character name>' and that would generate a *.npc file. I would then open up the Creation Kit, find an Imperial preset, import the *.npc file, then save the updated info as an *.esp file and put it in my load order. I could then invoke showracemenu from the console, choose the desired preset, and presto! I'd have my desired face. But for some reason this doesn't seem to be working. I can export my face from SSE, import it into Classic CK and save the .esp, but when I invoke 'showracemenu' in Oldrim, the 'new' face isn't there. What can I be doing wrong?

Could somebody contact me about making a follower in memory of my girlfriend who passed away a couple of years back. or post if you are interested here, you must be able to face sculpt. i dont have a picture of her because i burned them all after the funeral, i took it really hard when she died, but i have a picture of someone who looks almost exactly like her. I found it online, it took me hours.

  19. Hello dear wanderers, I really hope you can help me :3 I have this problem with faces never receiving decals in my game. I've had it forever, over many different mod setups, even installations of the game (as far as I remember). I've seen screenshots of others that had the facial splatter So I tried running the game without any mods or loose files and with default config files, but the problem was still there, so I don't think the mods are the problem. Hands receive decals, and they're a different model, just like the head. I've even tried to modify the base nifs for heads to have the same shader flags as body, and I checked the material files for options. I also tried using the "Head Wounds Decals" mod that adds alterations to the model pieces to simulate wounds. It was bottom load and looked fine in FO4Edit - but with no success, which I think is odd. Maybe it's some bug or "feature" from Bethesdas side that someone might know a fix to. I can rarely get it to display on NPCs, but not essential ones. Not sure what to make of that... (Limited testing though, I've only seen it on a male ghoul in Goodneighbor, twice. So hardly a pattern.) Any ideas for a next step in my effort to resolve this or add the functionality to my game? http://i.imgur.com/C8JkrN9.jpg Thanks <3 ~F
  20. Do we have any mod to turn generic NPCs to have unique appearance? Or to add some more diversity into facegeom data base. Bandits, guards, soldiers, other folk - clones everywhere. Plus such twins NPCs as Briehl (the Temple of Mara), Sond (Eldergleam Sanctuary), Erikur (Solitude noble).

  22. Hi! I've been trying to make a female character with a beautiful face like those I see on follower mods like this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2728/? Specifically Cara. I'm terrible at the skyrim face customization and I've tried my best to replicate things but to no avail. How do I get such faces on my player character? I can't find much searching on the internet. Are there some pre-setted faces as save files?
  23. Basically, I created my character, Aisha, month and a half ago, as a young Breton girl. She was pretty, and I was and still am really proud about how I managed to make a pretty character (even with vanilla oblivion faces). Then she became a vampire. Of course, vampires are naturally ugly in Oblivion. Once I saw a vampire bard and she was so creepy and ugly I got creeps. I wasn't really worried about the way she looked, until I loaded a game today. She looked like a f***ing Penguin from Batman. I do not know what happened, and when I loaded the game her face was normal again. If anybody else had the same bug occurring, I'm just curious why it happens. Comparison in the picture below.   24. The idea I have is a mod that adds a playable race consisting of anthropomorphic rats to the game. It seems to me to be a neat idea with a lot of fun role-play possibilities, not necessarily a furry thing. It's something I'd like for myself, but it's not exactly a request, I don't expect anyone to sit down and make it just for me. This is mostly going to be me explaining what I'm thinking of and why I think it could be a good idea, on the off-chance that someone cares, I hope this idea could be compelling enough that others might like it as well. The idea came from stumbling upon the Vulpine Race mod. I thought it was neat, but I think that making a similar kind of playable race mod based off of something like a rat would be a much more natural and immersive idea in the world of Fallout. Why? Well, for one, it's slightly more plausible that a rat would be bipedal, they can already stand on their hind legs and use their paws to hold things better than a fox could. But more importantly, we associate rats with adaptability, scavenging, deformity, and mad experiments. This I think would make it easier to accept the idea of an anthropomorphic rat, without it seeming too outlandish. From a lore-standpoint, the rats could be the result of implausible rapid evolution, boosted by radioactivity and ecological turmoil after the war. Or they could be the freaks of the pre-war labs or the mad Think Tank. Or the FEV could be involved somehow. It wouldn't be much crazier than the rest of the Wasteland. I also think that such rats would fit in pretty well in with the themes of the Wasteland. We often project lowly human traits onto rats, so with that cultural perception it would be easy to accept them amongst the scavengers, cutthroats and chem-addicts of the Mojave. Not to mention, I think there would be a certain poetry to the idea of there existing human-like rats in the post-apocalypse. Since rats have been looked down on as vermin beneath our civilization, it would be fitting if they were to become our equals, once that civilization fell. The elevation of the animal could be used to emphasize the downfall of man. So that's why I think it could be a viable idea with some appeal not just for people who like anthropomorphic animals in general. I don't know if it would be possible to do, or how difficult it'd be, but if the Vulpine Race was possible, I guess this could be, I imagine it'd be done in a similar way.   25. Hello Nexus devs. I was just wondering, why isn't "face preset" a search tag when looking for mods? Since there is a tag for bodyslide preset, couldn't face preset also be a thing. Thanks, that's all I had in mind.
