  1. Has anyone tried to replace BG3's limited set color pallets with a color wheel with brightness, metallic, gloss shaders for character creation. This would revamp custom character hair, makeup, tattoo, eyes, etc creation in this game. The default limited colors and tints are generic at best.
  2. I thougnt of using color remapping to add alternative color variants for pompadour wigs. They would be attached to a wig at armor workbenches and I would use instance naming similar to Better Armor Naming. 1) Do you think such mod would be useful? My initial thought was to make a blonde recolor to match Crimson's Johnny Bravo outfit. Then I noticed the wig uses textures from one of hair styles. 2) Maybe there already is a mod like this? I know there is one that adds an option to make a helmet look like a wig of any color, but these wigs were probably actual (or custom?) hair styles, not the Elvis wig
  3. Hello guys! First of all, this topic is about two things, here we go: 1 - I'm trying to make my own textures overriding others, like changing the color of one cape or armor piece. I use the iGP11 to dump all the textures and found the ones I want to edit, but heres the problem when I try to open with PhotoShop, its all black with just some little pixels around, its like 99.5% black! Is there a proper program to open these textures? 2 - If someone can't teach me the first question, then someone can just dye some armors? I can list a few if someone could do it. Thank you for reading this far!
  4. I'm hoping I can find someone willing to make a mod similar to this one http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8627/? but instead of it replacing all laser colors, have weapon mods for the laser weapons (Laser gun, Institute Laser, and Gatling Laser) that you can apply on a workbench like any other weapon mod so we can customize just our own laser color and others will still have red or institute blue
  5. I just finished fully modding Skyrim, but I keep getting CTD's on load screens. If it does end up loading, the colors outside are very cold and washed out. I removed the ENB I had installed, but it made no difference. The textures also seem a bit blurred, but that may just be me. Are there compatibility issues between these mods that LOOT isn't telling me about? I did my best to read the "compatibility" sections of each mod I installed, but there may have been something I missed. Can anyone help me out, please? LOAD ORDER SCREENSHOTS http://imgur.com/a/1eEsC Thanks!
  6. I've seen tons of retextures/replacers for Dogmeat... But what about all the other dogs in the Fallout 4 world? Particularly the mongrels. I recently started using Crimsomrider's mod that retextures the raider dogs. (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20599/?) And it made me realize how absolutely hideous the wild mongrels and such are. I'm using a mod that causes dogs to ignore you and makes them protected so they can't be killed by NPCs. (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19754/?) So having nice looking dogs running around the commonwealth would be awesome. Also would be cool to use the wasteland workshop cages to catch some dogs that actually looked like he belonged in my settlement. The junkyard dogs look okay, except some of their faces look injured. Would want that taken care of if possible, too. I have a mod that retextures cats, another that retextures brahmin, etc. Now I need one for the dogs of the Commonwealth! This may be non-lore friendly to some, but since I've probably put in over 1,000 hours into FO4, I don't really care for lore friendly things. I like clean, pretty things. Haha. Please let me know if you're willing to take on this request, or post a comment if this is something you'd like to see, too!
  7. Hey all, I was thinking it would be a cool idea to add a system of ddyes into the game. I dont know if this is even possible, but it would be a cool addition. For example, in ESO there is a dye system where you can dye your armor and clothing different colors. This is just a thought, and im curious as to weather or not this is possible.
  8. Greetings! I recently upgraded a super old Dell Inspiron 530a (mid tower, not micro tower) to use as a spare "gaming" computer for company. Old New Core 2 Duo E6550 @2.33GHz | Core 2 Duo E8500 @3.16GHz 4GB DDR2 667MHz RAM | 8GB DDR2 800MHz RAM Nvidia GT 630 2gb | Radeon HD 7850 2gb Before, Fallout 4 was playable but only with a lot of ini tweaks. It's running great now on high but from time to time I'll see texture glitches in random places like workbenches and NPC faces until I get close to them. I fear now it's to do with the graphics card but all my old experiences with artifacts were very different than what I'm seeing now. Here's two screenshots of what I'm seeing. I'm not sure just how frequent it is because I haven't played Fallout 4 on that system extensively, most of these complaints are from others. http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/ww258/LMohr75/Screens/ScreenShot0_zps0lj3y8uq.png http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/ww258/LMohr75/Screens/ScreenShot1_zpsdt65nh44.png Thank you for any input.
  9. Hello, I've been having a really tough time keeping track of what my settlers are doing. I came up with a pretty simply idea for a mod that would help me and others with similar problems. Red = Not assign to any thing Cyan = Defense Green = Farming Purple = Trade Route Orange = Scavenging Station Example: http://imgur.com/a/jWkVE Thank you for taking the time to read my post :)
  10. Hi, I'm getting a weird graphical glitch where textures look almost like looking through a thermal camera, anyone ever seen anything like this before? In addition, my screen seems to have an obnoxious jittering when there is rapid movement, and I don't think it is a frame rate issue. Any suggestions? P.S. yes I've tried reinstalling, playing without mods, etc.
  11. So hi, Well I've been trying to mod out Skyrim for a year or so, and I always had troubles to make ENBs working for me.I recently get back on Skyrim modding (and by recently I mean today) and I wanted to get a base visual setup that looks good and is playable with mods such as Duel or other combat mods that add exiting comabts to skyrim and need you to be a minimum focused. So lags aren't welcomed. So I started to get some basic graphics mods going on and started testing ENBs, with the hope of getting good results (like I said, in my past experiences, I always had trouble making them work properly). But the problems are still here. For example, I don't have DoF, I don't have any sun effects and I have problems with exteriors only. You'll see in the screenshots below what I mean.It looks acording to me that there's some kind of bug that like make the ENB only using the palette to modify the colors of the game but I'm really reeaaally not sure about it. I already know the answers like "hey it's you INIs" or "you didn't disabled Antialiasing and stuff like that" or even "You have performance option, try the full option" or EVEN "try the injector version instead of wrapper". All these didn't worked/are done correctly. So for now I just tested RealVision (Option B FULL) and the K ENB Pure Light. Here's some screenshots I made. Screenshot 1 to 4 is RealVision and 5 to 9 is K Pure Light. (ENBs ARE activated: in the in-game menu, there's definitely a noticable change in the game's colors between when the enb is on and when it's off) http://imgur.com/a/W9clr
  12. I liked the idea of changing the colors of the UI in the game, since it lets people choose what they want, but I wish they did the same for Power Armor UI, I don't really like the yellow ish color and would be great if it was either the color and design of the paint job you put on or fully customizable.
  13. Hello! Nevermind. Fixed this. It had to do with Vertex Colors of the mesh displaying my texture. I'm making a modded main menu here, and I've got a bit of a problem here and I believe it's related to the image spaces. As most of you know, Skyrim LOVES to recolor everything with these things. They modify saturation, tint, brightness, bloom - you name it. For my purpose they aren't working in my favor though. I have a background image in the form of a custom NIF file with a textured plane. It replaces the usual 'Data\Meshes\interface\intmenufogparticles.nif' (and the 'Data\Meshes\interface\Logo\logo.nif') file(s). I also have a custom logo (Don't confuse this logo with 'logo.nif'), added to the 'Data\Interface\startmenu.swf' file. I've matched the colors of the logo and the background image so they fit, but as soon as I boot the game up, the background recieves a weird, ever so slight blue/green-ish tint. This strange tint does not occur on the logo added to the 'startmenu.swf' file since it is being considered HUD or GUI or whatever. As you can imagine, this messes everything up. I've noticed that the 'logo.nif' file loads cleanly a little before 'intmenufogparticles.nif' and 'startmenu.swf'. So my guess is that as soon as the engine boots into the menu, the actual "physical space" is manipulated and you end up in (guessing here) a black worldspace where the loading screens, their 3d models and the main menu are located. Whatever "physical space" we're in.. whatever... it uses an 'image space', just like places, actual in-game environments via weathers. The image space that modifies the main menu and the loading screens would be 'LoadScreenIS [imgS:000FF9DB]'. I've confirmed that, and now neutralized any tint, basicly deactivated any bloom, eye adaptive stuff, and adjusted so it SHOULD reproduce the ACTUAL colors of my background image, yet it still gets this weird, blue/green-ish tint... Note: I don't have any emitting colors or anything funky like that happening in the '.nif' files either... It feels a bit stupid, but any ideas how to get the game to reproduce the actual colors of textures without messing it up? Any help would be appreciated. This is posted both for Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition since the issue is shared. (It's technically the same game but a newer version.)
  14. So far, I've only come across 3 mods that retexture the robot armor. One that does 2k and 4k versions of green or black, one that makes it all black, and one that made it look like Optimus Prime. Where are the silver/clean metal or chrome retextures? Or gradient colors? Or even solid colors? The armor itself isn't that appealing as it is, and could really use some retexture work. lol. Thanks for checking out my request! Excited to see if anyone volunteers.
  15. Without mods, does Oblivion share the same issue as Skyrim where the only wood elf eye colors are 50 shades of brown?
  16. Greets! Here's the trouble: I'm tryin to change the sky color for a red/purple shade, I found the red skies and alternative skies mods for textures and morrowind.ini tweaks, but whatever the changes in it, i get pixeled, pink clouds at best, with an everblue sky. I'm usin MGSO 3.0 with MGX-XE on win10 and about 170 mods. Anyone with an idea about that everlastin blue sky? Edit. Strange. Copied a backup of all the sub files of the morrowind folder on another computer, and there it works! Then deleted the subfiles from my main game and pasted them again, and that seems to work also. Though I still have the two moons shapes, with no textures, in day sky. Buggy from where? If anyone have an answer...
  17. There's a mod called Asuka officer uniform (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14945/?). There are also two complementary mods that add cbbe functionality (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14984) and moddablity on the amor workbench (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15173). Could someone add more colors - preferably to the workbench options - like military drab, basic colors (black, white, gray, red, etc.), camo, etc?
  18. At the moment, I'm working on armor items. I'm adding in object templates with related keywords so I can have armor sets appear on NPCs with matching colors. That's all well and good, except that my workload is somewhere in the ballpark of more than 500 object templates, as a matter of about 7 templates for each of ~81 armor items. Doing this by hand in the Creation Kit is not ideal, and not going to be fun. I know how to make object templates just fine, but doing it fast is not something the CK was made for. Is there a way to speed this process up, or automate it?
  19. Has anyone worked to expand the color palette for the various 'Mech varieties, native and added by mods? I have noted elsewhere the protrait customization issues, but getting distinctive 'Mech patterns is fairly crucial, I feel. (Let's be honest. the 'Mechs are the stars of this game and always have been, to an even greater extent than KITT was the star of the first Knight Rider series!)
  20. So yea... I have no idea what I did or how this happened but I was running around skyrim doing my normal routine stuff and when I came back home, lowe and behold something else is broken in my game now. Not sure yet if this is happening to anything else but so far I have only seen this problem with the Stormcloak helmet. I don't know if the Stormcloaks decided to have a paintball contest but it happened to all stormcloak helmets so its not just a loading error or something that can be fixed by reloading the save... So I came in and found my Stormcloak manikin to be wearking the most colorful of helmets ever seen. As I approach the colors fade to revial the original helmet but as I move away, the god aweful chameleon-like antics of the colorblind helmet reappear. I have an image below to help visualize what I am seeing. -Stormcloak helmet appears to be covered in different colors, as if the colormap of the helmet is being revialed or something of the like - As I approach the colors fade and the helmet returns to normal. - Moving away from the helmet causes the colors to reappear. - Effect of the helmet item itself as all Stormcloaks in the game have the same glitched helmet http://i35.tinypic.com/iznqzc.pnghttp://i34.tinypic.com/wl8z2s.pnghttp://i34.tinypic.com/1499qw0.png
  21. When loading into some areas in the game (always outside) thing get a little... weird. I'm not sure what is messing up (textures ,meshes, colors or whatever.) The colors are dull and it literally looks like everything is made of clay. This is becoming really annoying and if anyone has a fix it would be greatly appreciated! Here's some examples: http://oi41.tinypic.com/4vpkcy.jpg http://oi42.tinypic.com/4i1vsw.jpg http://oi43.tinypic.com/207s5z5.jpg
  22. Images speak more than words. Here's the screenshot of Dupre232 's Nifskope And here's a picture of my Nifskope How can I make my Nifskope look as good as hers? I mean, mine won't even show textures... (I'm a COMPLETE novice regarding this subject, I' d appreciate any help)
  23. 24. Has anybody had that glitch before? When using Tropical Skyrim - which I enjoy a LOT - everything in my screen turns to shades of gray within Whiterun walls and all around the city at night, only at night (game nights, of course!..). Absolutely everything turns to gray including NPCs, lights, fires, etc, exactly as if I had disabled color mode in my CPU (nVidia GTX 660 by the way). As far as I can tell this does not happen anywhere else, nor in interior cells. When I walk away from the Whiterun area, colors come back somewhere between the Meadery and Riverwood, at the road turn where you sometimes will encounter Alik'r men interrogating a Redguard woman. This really puzzles me... I wonder if it has anything to do with Tropical Skyrim because when I disable the mod, everything returns to normal. I do not use any ENB, nor light mod, nor any other environment or climate mod and never tweaked my .ini files and this has never happened to me in hundreds of hours of Skyrim playing. Puzzling, really... Could anyone please enlighten me (so to speak... ;)) as to what may be happening there?.. Many, many thanks in advance!
  25. Different colors to replace that standard orange from the menus, texts and icons.
