  1. When i arrive to Sanctuary at the end of "when freedom calls" Preston runs through some dialog about how i lived there and then at the end he says he's glad to have me in dialog mode with no dialog to complete the quest. I've seen someone with this same issue who hasn't resolved it on another forum. I haven't run into the pines or whatever they're called yet and i've tried using console commands to recycle Preston (even myself). I've tried the remove faction cc too but it didnt make a difference. Does anyone know of any mods that conflict an npc like preston? Any help is greatly appreciated!
  2. I have been experiencing an issue with friends - typically involving Multiplayer. As a duo, it seemed to work 10+ hours into a game. Once 2 friends joined the game broke after a main menu load back into game. It breaks all save files from the start of the game. Basically, we aren't able to long rest, go back to camp, or interact with anything in the game anymore - such as NPCs and cutscenes. Attacking friendly NPCs in the grove results in them running, healing, and not knowing what happened. Any cutscenes don't work anymore - running to the Gith camp by the bridge doesn't trigger a cutscene or anything of that nature. Clicking camp in map for fast travel and or clicking buttom right and camp/long rest doesn't do anything. The issue has gotten 2 of the 4 members of my group to just straight out unistall the game as we have got about 50 hours trying to just play with mods. Originally, we tried using the Mod Launcher that is purple and got the same issue. So we all reinstalled our games - delete all traces of mods - and decided to use vortex. With Vortex, it worked longer, but ultimately ended in the same issue. It is truly game breaking and sad to waste so much time with all of this. All mods were done using Export Tool latest version, which was dragged and dropped into vortex - and then everything else was done through Mod Manager downloads using the recommended load orders - which all members of the group downloaded the SAME exact mods and versions via a pack I made for all of them and exported load order to all of them. Things we have tried: Uninstalled half of the mods. Tried different mod launchers. Tried different things to trigger this mod as it seems completely random. Tried disabling certain mods we had a hunch that would mess with UI and the environment. Things we suspect it to be: Multiplayer with 4 people. We are using the latest scriptextender by norobytes via going to his Github and dragging zip file. It is ExportTool-v1.19.5.zip - we were usion ExportTool-v1.18.7.zip but the newest one worked. We were also trying to use FeatsPerLevel but it doesn't work with the extra classes/races/subclasses we added for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I have to reinstall everything again - including the game - I wouldn't be against in - I just want the game to work and be able to play with my friends for these mods. If anything seems out of order - please let me know and where to play them Thanks again.
  3. I've been working on a pack of stone age weapons and I'm trying to get a basic throwing knife working. No real issues with the basics, but the grenade arc absolutely refuses to work. I get this result, seemingly no matter what. https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/images/1151/79299-1710026957.png I've tried remaking the projectile entry from scratch, rather than copying and editing an existing one. Also tried copying everything, including collision, from the throwing knives in Grenade Expansion Pack 2, which work fine. Tried with no collision on the projectile mesh, and a few other tweaks with keywords and whatnot. Absolutely nothing seems to get the arc working properly. Would really appreciate any input here. Mod is nearly done, just need to iron out these little glitches.
  4. Vehicle Headlights after the 1.5 update no longer have the option to be switched between Normal, High-Beam(or Auxilliary) or OFF. Now it's just ON/OFF. It would be so cool if there's a way to retun that removed functionality, as I've seen quite a bit of posts both on Nexus and Reddit addressing that issue, breaking immersion for some, me included. Thank you in advance if someone is willing to do it!

So SKSE is likely already updated, or will be soon (I didn't bother to check), but since this update doesen't really mess-up the game as much as AE did, how many mods except maybe SKSE and Adress Library are likely to not work, or what kind of mods aren't likely to work until the author updates them? I know it improves papyrus and raises esl limits, so everything papyrus-related is also going to not work? I'd just like an estimate on how long to wait until I reinstall Skyrim, because I was building my modlist and forgot to turn-off auto-updates and I've just uninstalled, because I've decided I didn't like the mods I have installed that much anyway and wanted to start-off clean again. So, should I - wait at most a couple of weeks for everything relevant to be updated or - just use 1.640?

I've sealed every rift, completed all the Astrariums, gained a dozen agents, and upgraded my potions, tonics, and grenades across two playthroughs and I still haven't gotten the related achievements. I'm currently working on JoH, to get the Firestarter achievement I missed the first time, and will go on to try for the last three in Trespasser. I'm worried that those won't pop, either. Is there some way to fix this? A save file, maybe? An editor? I know it's cheating, but I sure as hell won't play through a third time until DA4 releases, and even then they'll STILL be broken.

  8. I'm currently getting on pretty much any mod page this ad popping up, and it's also blocking the "report" button, hence why I have to post it here. The ad started showing up after I visited twitch.tv. Every part of the ad is clickable, and takes me to the smite site.
  9. I'd like to ask for something that I think is easy to make, it would be a broken and dirty model of the vault suit, maybe without a sleeve or something like that. I've seen some similar mods, but they are only for female models and have nude content. My idea is to make a suit that could that could be fit with the lore and serve as an old version of our vault suit. Thanks anyway!

I made a follower in CK earlier and uploaded it to the nexus, the .bsa and .esp files were both included, (all textures and meshes too) but when a friend downloaded the mod the character looked nothing like what she was supposed to. In my game she looks perfect, but in theirs she is bald and has the wrong face. What did i do wrong? :( <my follower mod and what she looks like in my game < the abomination my friend ended up with. help me please lol

Hey guys, I had a playthrough with 130+ mods installed with no problems, except when I saw the fire barrel in Hangman's Alley, it was static with no animation, and from there on out every fire barrel is static with no animation. I have tried uninstalling every mod and deleting Fallout 4 and reinstalling. EVEN WITH a brand new install with completely vanilla game, the fire barrels just wont animate anymore. Please does anyone know what might be causing this? PS I had previously used nvidiaprofile inspector to cap my fps at 74 for my 144hz monitor. I also had shadowboost and enboost installed. I have since removed the fallout 4 Nvidia profile and both shadowboost and enboost before I reinstalled to a new hard drive. Thanks
  13. I haven't exactly frequented the Rift so I can't say when it happened. Among my mods list I have Skyrim Floral Overhaul SE and the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch installed. I am not currently using any other landscaping mods so I can't imagine anything else in my mods list that may be tampering with the textures. I have tried uninstalling both and I have tried installing landscaping mods but nothing seems to fix this problem and it doesn't seem like I can use any flashy mods to cover it up! I don't know if it even can be fix at this point, but it would be nice to at least know what did it in the first place.   14. Tried installing perkus, now ordinator. Both installed correctly in MO, however in game neither make any change to the perk tree and when ordinator is installed some perks now appear as "NPC Perk 1". I have done all the basic trouble shooting that is common.   17. I just got Fallout 4 on pc, went and did all the .ini file edits but none of the mods that i've installed, at least the ones that require plugins, using NMM work. I don"t know what to do. I have a couple that don't need plugins that work just fine. I checked to make sure that the was a * before my mods in the plugin file in the appdata folder. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the mods, updated to the 1.7 beta to see if that would help, so far nothing I've found and tried has worked. If anyone has any ideas and can help me out I would really appreciate it. Also, mods from Bethesda.net work just fine, so I dont know what the issue is.
  18. Hey everyone, I'm wondering if there is a way to check if a terminal has been locked permanently or if a lock has been broken, and make part of script run when that happens. It would preferably only involve vanilla scripting, so I don't have to add NVSE as a requirement for one tiny part of the mod. If anyone knows how/if this can be done it'd be appreciated.   19. So I have been having issues the last day or two where if I try to load a save in game I will get a CTD about a second into the loading screen. This also happens if I die and it tries to load the last save. I've updated my mods and used LOOT which said everything was ok. It's just started happening recently like I said and it seems to only happen on one of my characters. I have the papyrus logs here as well. I tried to stop what was causing the crash but can't seem to pin it down. Any help would be greatly appreciated :smile: Papyrus log
  20. I had previously made a thread about specific animations not working in my game. It had started when I tried to carve out Canticle bark in the Unseen Visions quest in the Dawnguard questline. At that point, the only animations that didn't work were gathering the bark, mining, and chopping wood. I thought it had started due to the quest. But now, none of the following animations will play: mining, wood chopping, using alchemy/enchanting tables, smithing, smelting, using the workbench/grinding wheel...pretty much any vanilla animation that involves interacting with objects. And it's only the player character, too! NPCs have full animation use. Animations from mods, such as Actions and Remove Projectiles work just fine, but they only involve the player character acting alone, with no object interaction. There are no T-models going on, no lack of running or walking, just a lack of interaction with objects. With most, my character will just stand there, go into third person, then be able to move again, but without being able to go into first person. With some actions, like mining and wood chopping, I even lose the ability to move the camera around, even after my character regains their movement. The animations never play and I never get anything out of interacting with the objects. I do not have FNIS, nor do I have any mods that depend on it.

  22. Since update 1.6.x i have been having the orig settlements imposed over the new settlement every time I fast travel/cell resets. Its a full version of orig buildings and all not a shadowy one. Only way to fix is to quit to desktop and restart game but after first reset its all back again. I have already tried cycling disable/able, uninstall/install, LOOT, FO4edit inspection (not really a modder so may have missed), manually moving to high and bottom in load order. Have had to completely remove settlement rebuild mods in order to play game and would really like to get back to my super towns so any help is appreciated. Anybody else having this issue? I read somewhere they changed the settlement cell setup in the update and suspect the mods that rebuild settlements will have to be rebuilt/updated to reflect this. If any info on this id like to hear it.
  23. Recently I went through the process of uninstalling the Tropical Skyrim mod as I didn't really like the look of it and it took away a lot of my frame rate. To uninstall it I went through a few of the necessary files and just deleted them, assuming that the skyrim textures.bsa file would replace them with the vanilla files. However when i loaded up my game, the tree Lods had somehow turned into stone wall textures, and I can't fix it. What do I do?
  24. So, I've got a new HDD in my laptop as my other one died, so I had to reinstall my mods (the ones I can remember me having) and well, I've got multiple issues. Doing the cheat "Showlooksmenu" brings up "Missing parameter ObjectReferenceID" SolvedThis is more of a mod troubleshooting, so I guess this applies to that forum too, but I have LooksMenu installed, as well as the LooksMenu Customization Compendium, and for whatever reason I could not move my head or even save a prefix because I couldn't type, note I was able to choose all of the customization. I ran LOOT and now I can type, move my head but I can no longer see any of the customization options added by the Compenium mod.Update: Now when opening steam overlay it will freeze there and then go back to my game playing. Pressing escape a lot or ~ can fix it after a bit, but I can't use it to talk anymore.Another update: Definitely cannot load main character I had since launch day. It shows old mods ESP's and the "..." so I can't figure out what else I'm missing. Is it possible to find out what else I'm missing? I crash with whatever save I load, and I sure as hell don't wanna lose all that progress and time.My loadorder for anyone curious (don't judge me :<) I also can't load my main save anymore.. but I assume thats because I don't have some of the ESP's it had, as a lot of the weapon mods have newer, updated ESP's
  25. So apparently, if you want to find what mods are on Nexus, you have to wait for a YouTube video to show you. Then you have to google it. Their search engine APPEARS to be busted because big name major mods cannot be found (unofficial patch, armor smith, etc). I have adjusted the search perimeters every which way. It just seems like half the mods are hidden, which sucks cause I found the most fun was browsing to see what all was all out there... I just did a clean wipe and want to re-mod from scratch, but now it just seems like it's just not worth it. Any help would be great, there is a good chance I'm just too dense to figure this one out.
