  1. The lack of axes in game is, especially in areas like Far Harbor, is oddly disturbing. My request? A double-bit axe. It can be any double-bit axe, though if it could be Otis from "Frailty" as, like, a legend tier ghoul-monster destroying axe you find in a mysterious dried up garden littered mysteriously with half-buried bones, that would be cool too. Just putting it out there. Here's a few pictures of what I ideally hope to have done with the axe. Also thank you. Mods are not easy to do, so anyone who undertakes this has nothing but thanks from my behalf. Also i don't know how to edit the title of this post so "Double-bit Axe request" would do if anyone could edit that for me.   2. Can someone make Kratos's leviathan axe from God of War for Skyrim Special Edition? I would be really grateful. I see there is a mod for Skyrim but not for the Special Edition. Sadly i don't understand a thing about modding.
  3. Does anyone know of or know how to make a mod that makes battleaxes and warhammers use the same animations as the greatsword? I like using the immersive first person mod but I noticed that I almost never see my battleaxe while using it and I prefered the normal first person animations but I still wanted the realistic first person view and movements, so my idea is to get a mod that replaces the battleaxe animations with the greatsword ones since that would be similar to what it looks like in normal first person EDIT: Damn, nevermind I just tested it and I can't see a greatsword in immersive FP either anyway

  5. Hello everyone. I'm huge fan of Nanatsu no Taizai Manga series ( 7 Deadly Sins ) and my favorite caracter is Escanor , the sin of pride. You dont need to now the series or escanor, what i wis is weapon of him.   6. Hello people of the commonwealth! Remember back in the good ol' days when we could throw all sorts of throwing weapons around? YEAH? Why is this not a feature in fallout 4?! I mean we have an awesome throwing mechanic complete with all the features needed! http://s16.postimg.org/x4nu3ufkx/Throwing_knife_icon.png I am not the most skilled modder and i definitely have no experience working outside the GECK but i have seen standalone weapons added to the game already. I Hypothesis that if you made new explosives, increased their range and decreased their AOE damage to 0 and added a new model like the Combat Knife, table knife, PLAYING CARDS, Bowler hat (Odd job style), Tin can, bottle or even a rock! You could make an awesome weapon. I suggest trying to implement it thought the "Crafting Workbenches" mod. (also, and i'm not sure if its possible but IF just if it was possible to give things like the knife the pinning attribute og the railway-rifle that could be so awesome! Imagine pinning a mans hand to the wall!) (I am aware someone will probably do this when the GECK comes out, if not then i will myself. But i really miss it right now :tongue: please help!)   7. I'm hoping to surprise a friend with a custom axe or even a reskin of a powerful one in game. If anyone is looking for something to create and are willing I'm going to link to a huge image (wouldn't dare embed) of what I'm after. It's basically the weapon used by Darius in League of Legends and because of that would need to be stupidly powerful and pretty huge in scale. I'd include more than one but this is probably the best reference I can find and both sides are the same. Ideally I'd think the shaft directly beneath the axe head should be a little longer. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/_EsuB3MDyXM/maxresdefault.jpg I don't know if requesting things specifically like this is allowed or if there is some other way to go about it. I hope this is ok even if nobody can do it / is willing to do it.
  8. So I just decided I would try making my first mod this week. As I've never really done any modding myself ever before I decided to try something simple, like changing a two-handed axe into a one-handed axe. All went well after I grasped the basics of NifSkope and the results were better than I expected. Everything worked smoother than I could've hoped, it sheathes at the side, collision is spot-on, all textures A-OK - even blood textures. Only problem was that it clipped into the view in 1st-person, and it just looks way too big, so the next step would be to scale it down a bit. After quickly realizing this would just end in tears through NifSkope, so then I went and learned the basics of Blender. It wasn't really too compicated to learn how to scale the meshes and remove simple parts. As a start I decided to tweak with the Dragonbone Waraxe and simply exchange the "staff" with the two-handed battle-axe's and then move on from there. To make this staff fit however I needed to move the hilt and head of the one-handed axe seperately (because those to were "joined", so to speak. So I exported the hilt&head mesh into an .obj file, imported into Blender, deleted the vertices for the head-piece, then exported the file again. I did just the same another time, but this time I deleted the vertices for the hilt. I now had two seperate .obj files, one for the hilt and one for the head. Everything alsmost seemed too simple. I then imported each file back into NifSkope and positioned them correctly. As you can see on the image above, the hilt looks just the way it's supposed to, but the head's textures are kinda warped. The picture under shows the other side, and you can see it's missing texture completely, so I figured there was a problem with double-sided textures. I've tried checking off double-sided texture in Blender and added a NiStencilProperty to the .nif in NifSkope. This was really the only tip I could find to similar problems and so I decided to check with you guys for any possible solutions. Any help, tips or feedback would be greatly appreciated! :D
  9. Greetings! I'd like to know how can I make it so when you hit a tree with an axe it will give you firewood. I'm new to modding and even though there's mods like Woodcutter and Indefinite Woodcutting, I'd like to make a simple one for me. I already have Creation Kit up and running. Do I need to write a script (I'm guessing I would have to use the OnHit code if that's the case) or is there a tool that will let me do it more easily?   10. Hey, dear comrades, mod users and mod makers. I have question, or, maybe, request. There is "hatchet" weapon ingame, but its looks, kinda, khm, bulky. And yeah, first thing, about that im thinkin, than i see word "hatchet" - touristic or survival axe, not this bulky kitchen type. Also, there is throwing axe, that looks ideally in role of touristic/survival axe, but its THROWING. Khm, strange.   13. Would anyone be willing to create a mod where instead of the whole sword glowing there is just runes going up and down the blade? Not unlike the witcher 3 in a sense! You could also incorporate the effect into hammers and axes as well! I feel it would fit in very well in the game and could be a very popular mod!

I've recently created my own hunting gear mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/44708//?) and I'm trying to figure out how to make the axe Frostfall compatible, but I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring it out. I tried adding it to the Formlist, with no success. Does anyone know how Chesko set that mechanic up and how to modify it? Any help would be appreciated!
  16. So, we all love the Wabbajack, and everyone loves using it for the most humorous antics. But, I think it falls short in terms of representing the impredictability of Shegorath. Now I have no idea if this is possible, but is there any way to make it so the Wabbajack's weapon type changes each time it is drawn? As in circling between being a dagger, a bow, a greatsword, an axe, an waraxe, a mace and so on. They would have course have the same random enchantment of the staff, which would be activated on hit.

  21. This mod would be a simple weapon mod, based on the young Thor's powerful one handed waraxe Jarnbjorn, but instead called the axe of Shor, to hold with the lore, being an incredibly powerful weapon obtained when the player visits Sovngarde, picture below
  22. This mod would essentially just be a quick weapon mod, giving you the one handed war axe wielded by the young and / or unworthy Thor. In game it could be called the "axe of shor" as Shor is the nord god of sovngarde, The weapon could be obtained while the dragonborn is in Sovngarde, it would be a very powerful weapon because of this. it would be relatively simple to make, I however, do not currently have any time, i will attatch a picture for reference

  24. Anyone know of a mod that gives you spells for only two-handed weapons? Or, if possible, perks that make two-handed weapons a bit "cooler" to use? Two-Handed weapons seem to be the most "boring" animations out of all the weapons: You simply swing your weapon VERY slowly, and pray you hit and kill something. I'd like a simple spell or a new perk to allow you to move quickly and kill an enemy. Example for Greatswords: If it was a new perk, allow the Forward Power Attack to have you dash forward and slice through all enemies in a short to medium range with your Greatsword. You will move VERY quickly. Or, if it was a new spell, simply cast the spell and your character dashes forward and slices through enemies. Basically, if you guys have seen a little bit of anime or ninja movies where you have a character wielding a sword and he dashes REALLY quickly past the enemy, pauses, and the enemy just falls and dies? That's pretty much what I'm asking for for Greatswords. For other weapons, I'm not sure yet. Maybe let WarHammers have the ability to knock enemies back using their Forward Power Attack. This would be a nice addition. __________________________ Something along these lines of variety... and maybe mobility and speed, as the two-handed weapons are the most boring weapons so far in Skyrim... I LOVE two-handed weapons, yet I feel other weapons have more variety in how they play. One-handed + Shield allows you to block, shield bash, and attack. Blocking is obviously pretty useful as you can block arrows and spells easily, unlike Two-handed weapons. Two one-handed weapons allows you to do VERY quick attacks with added damage. This is actually much more superior to the current Two-Handed weapons, as two one-handed weapons gives you MORE enchantments and more DPS in general. Now, I don't want Two-Handed weapons to be overpowered. I just want them to be more viable. They need to be buffed just a little bit to keep up with the other weapons. Thanks.
  25. Hello, all. I have been searching for the "wings of the Queen of Bats" for a while for skyrim. I loved it in Morrowind (obtained using the Console) and I though...why not just post something in the mod requests? So here I am :P. This weapon is an unused Artifact from Morrowind..It's an axe, and I thought it would be a great addition to Skyrim. I would make it myself, but I don't have the tools, or the know-how, on how to make weapons. So please, could someone please please please make this? It should take only a good like 2 hours or so :P not long.
