Role Purpose:

As a Digital Communication Specialist, reporting to the Communications Director, you will manage and optimize the digital communication channels to effectively convey the organization's message, engage with target audiences, and achieve communication objectives. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the development and implementation of Sibelco's digital communications strategy. This entails managing the corporate website, overseeing corporate social media channels on a day-to-day basis, and measuring their effectiveness to ensure alignment with communication goals.

In the role of Specialist Digital Communication, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement digital communication strategies to enhance Sibelco’s brand awareness and engagement.
• Manage the corporate website, including content creation, updates, and optimization for search engines (SEO).
• Oversee the corporate social media channels, creating content, and engaging with the audience.
• Monitor and analyze digital communication metrics to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in messaging across digital platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital communication to continuously improve strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in digital communications.
  
  
  

To be successful in the role of Digital Communication Specialist, you have:

• Bachelor's degree in communication or another relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven project management skills, familiar with an international environment.
• Proficiency in website content management systems to publish content.
• Understanding of corporate web architecture and ability to advise on IA and UX aspects.
• Experience with social media management tools.
• Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and techniques to improve website visibility and organic traffic.
• Team player with good communication skills and able to work independently.
• Effectively organizes and prioritizes work tasks to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
