About the position

At Stark, our vision is to become the global leader in motocross and premium motorcycles. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to lead our B2B sales organization. Your role will involve identifying and collaborating with dealers to elevate our position in the motocross market and expand into premium motorcycles. You'll inspire and guide our partners to uphold our standards in product presentation, test rides, communication, pricing, and sustainability. You will achieve this by leading a global sales team of 20 individuals, and growing!

We value strong connections between dealers and consumers, with ideal dealers actively engaging with the community and showcasing our products on the track. Stark offers customers the flexibility to purchase our products online or from their nearest dealer, ensuring an exciting experience and exceptional service.

The position is based in Barcelona, Spain, and you report directly to CEO and founder Anton Wass.

Main responsibilities

  • Global Sales Leadership: Build and motivate a world-class sales team passionate about our products and mission.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with key dealers and strategic partners to expand our market reach.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage both new and existing customers through impactful product showcases at tracks and events, ensuring a seamless buying journey.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align strategies and achieve company-wide goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure timely communication with partners, set a standard of excellence through exemplary leadership, and continuously seek opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct global demand forecasting and ensure alignment with market trends and customer needs.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Challenge the status quo, propose new strategies, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.


Your profile

As a candidate for the Sales Director position at Stark, you are a dynamic and visionary leader with a passion for the motorcycle industry and a commitment to sustainability. You possess a strategic mindset, able to inspire and lead a global sales team towards achieving ambitious goals. You thrive on challenges and are not afraid to redefine industry norms to deliver exceptional results.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of senior sales experience from the motorcycle industry, demonstrating a consistent track record of leading high-performance teams and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with dealers and strategic partners.
  • Passion for sustainability and innovative technology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on ROI and market impact.
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Extensive experience in the motorcycle industry, especially in motocross and premium motorcycles.
  • Willingness to travel globally to visit dealers and serve as a representative for Stark at major events.
