Purchasing Manager

 Main responsibilities:

• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for power conversion equipment components.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.

• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.

Proven working experience as a Purchasing Manager in the high power conversion / high power electrical equipment manufacturing industries.

• 10+ years experience in purchasing on this area.
• Interest in market dynamics along with a business sense.
• A knack for negotiation and networking.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and work with figures.
• Solid judgement along with decision making skills.
• MS degree in electrical engineering (or similar), supply chain management or a related field.
• Excellente English language skills, Spanish is a strong plus, other languages are a plus.
