As our future Power BI Data Modelling Analyst:

• You will be responsible for the modeling and consumption of Data using MySQL and/or Oracle.
• You will collaborate on the creation of data models in Power BI, cooperating with the data engineers of the data virtualization layer to establish a consistent data flow end-to-end.
• You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of data flows using Power Query and M language in Power BI.
• You will interact with the customer to get the functional requirements and translate them into technical ones.
• You will be responsible for the maintenance of the data models in Power BI following best practices and standards across the industry.
• You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards in Power BI, including design, implementation, testing, security level, and data modeling.
• You will interact with the stakeholders to detect and solve issues or needs related to the platform.

Your profile

You have a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Computer Engineering, and at least 1 year of experience with Power BI, preferably within the IT and/or consultancy industry and working on projects related to data and data warehouse in Microsoft Technologies, so the Power BI Portal holds no secrets for you, making you familiar with:

• Configuration and maintenance of the connection gates (professional and personal) of Microsoft Power BI and administration of licenses, users, and workspaces.
• You manage the functionalities of Power BI and the allowed codes, including the use of SQL.
• You have experience with the creation of ETL Workflows with a graphical interface and M language in Power BI. Dataflow modeling.
• You have experience with the application of relations and hierarchies in Power BI for the materialization of detailed models.
• You have knowledge of DAX Language, Calculation Groups, and experience in the creation of Power BI measurements, columns, and data transformations.
• You know how to model, cleanse, and ensure the quality of data, keeping control of missing data, mistakes, inconsistencies, or inadequacy.
• You have participated in the designing of models for analytical data exploitation according to the functional requirements. All of it while following good corporate practices, and adapting to different levels of normalization, preferably in the STAR model without ambiguity or redundancies.
• You have experience working with Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
• Power BI certifications and experience with other BI tools will be highly valued.
