Greenvolt is seeking an experienced O&M Procurement Manager to design and implement the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Asset Management procurement strategies across various geographical locations. This role involves validating inputs and managing the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to optimize the O&M and Asset Management models.
Key accountabilities
Development & Strategy
Design and implement procurement strategies for O&M and Asset Management across multiple geographies at both M&A and contracting levels for PV Solar, Wind and BESS.
Define and revisit the supply chain strategy of key categories/markets in coordination with the direct Director during the Development Phase.
Provide cost estimations and forecasts for projects in different categories and/or scopes in coordination with the technical department and/or coordination of CAPEX assumptions
Inputs
Validate inputs and manage the RFI and RFP processes to ensure optimal O&M and Asset Management models. for the packages categories (Wind Turbines, PV Solar Components, BESS, EPC/BOP/BOS)
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
Regularly interact about projects’ development to define supply chain strategy.
Market Screening & Supplier Management
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to inform the procurement strategies.
Maintain long term relationship with key supplier aligned with company compliance
Follow up and revisit trends and forecast, where applicable (categories and/or markets) identifying risks and opportunities.
Proactive supplier scouting current and/or new markets per O&M and/or Asset Management categories (i.e preventive, corrective, etc).
Contribute to develop a networks of suppliers (current/new entrants) having an impact on the business
Conduct benchmarking exercises to assess the competitiveness of rates and services.
Procurement Process
Lead, manage or support, with the coordination of the direct Director, the execution of RFIs, RFPs/RFQ for Solar, Wind and BESS, sole sourcing or bid process to evaluate supplier and/or product options, following a competitive process, including but not limited, to:
RFP drafting - Optimization and Execution of the terms/requirements for: 1) O&M Services (preventive & corrective services: WTG services, electrical and mechanical services) 2) Material and Equipments (Owner suplied equipment, spare parts, Substation/HV line equipments/materials) 3) Other services
Bidder list definition and pre-qualification process
Coordination of technical inputs according project deadlines
Pivotal role involving key areas, as Legal, Compliance, Risk, EHS, etc
Leading contract and commercial negotiation
Proposals assessments
Awarding recommendation following project and Company requirements
Others
Contract Negotiation and Management:
Management of orders with suppliers, ensuring reliability in the information in terms of dates, quantity and prices.
Providing information to other stakeholders and collaborators in the supply chain.
Updated order portfolio within the required frequency.
Providing support contract management support (when applicable) during the execution of the project
Reporting
Reporting the Procurement Process to the Procurement Director following specific and/or Group guidelines (EHS, Compliance, Risk, etc)
Suppliers’ benchmark reporting (when applicable: e.g. supplier´s factory, industry fairs, others)
Maintain an updated order portfolio within the required frequency.
Provide information to other stakeholders and collaborators in the supply chain.
Qualifications
University degree in Engineering or related is required.
Complimentary studies in procurement, stocks or logistics is a plus.
At least 5 years of significant/recent experience within O&M
Experience with supplier and contract management.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, tendering procedures, and contract management.
Willingness to travel (expected min. 20%-30%).
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Proactivity, autonomy and strong capability to anticipate and capability solutions
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work on different projects at the same time (multitasking)
Experience with metrics creation and data presentation.
Experience of improving processes.
