The digital transformation at BASF is aimed at integrating digitalization into the company's core, enhancing customer experiences, driving business growth, and improving process efficiencies. Global Digital Services (GDS) plays a pivotal role in supporting this transformation by delivering innovative digital products and services. The Marketing Digitalization & Customer Intelligence team focuses on Digital Marketing, a critical aspect of marketing activities. The team provides digital tools and processes to enhance BASF's marketing capabilities, ensuring reliable communication with customers, a good understanding of their needs and preferences and compliance with data privacy regulations.
Responsibilities
Tag Management and Data Collection
Data Collection: Ensure the proper collection of marketing data on digital platforms taking into account customer needs
Tagging Implementation: Build, debug the Tagging Setup of BASF websites.
Education and Training: Provide guidance and training to internal teams on best practices for Tagging.
Analysis and Reporting
Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards that offer actionable insights, with a section dedicated to cookie consent statistics and implications.
Data Analysis: Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights, taking into consideration the impact of cookie consent on data availability.
Performance Metrics: Develop and track KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and customer engagement, factoring in cookie consent rates
Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards that offer actionable insights, with a section dedicated to cookie consent statistics and implications.
Education and Training: Provide guidance and training to internal teams on best practices for marketing data analytics.
Cookie Compliance
Cookie Policy Management: Monitor and ensure that the organization's cookie policies are up-to-date with current data privacy laws and regulations.
Consent Tracking: Implement and maintain systems for tracking user consent, ensuring transparency and control over cookie usage.
Compliance Analysis: Regularly assess the organization's web properties for compliance with cookie consent requirements and recommend improvements.
Education and Training: Provide guidance and training to internal teams on best practices for cookie consent and the implications for customer data collection.
Another Responsibilities
Collaboration and Communication
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with marketing, sales, product teams, and legal departments to align insights with privacy regulations and consent strategies.
Cross-functional Projects: Engage in projects that require a blend of data analysis, customer insights, and compliance with cookie laws
Insight Dissemination: Share findings and recommendations, including the impact of cookie compliance on data-driven strategies.
Continuous Learning and Development
Market Research: Stay informed about evolving industry standards.
Professional Development: Continuously seek educational opportunities to enhance expertise in tag management, data analysis, and cookie compliance.
Qualifications
Education: Junior Developer: Studies in Informatics, Digital Marketing, or a comparable field.
Working Experience: Minimum 1 - 3 years of related working experience.
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
Strong Javascript capacities
Strong Digital Analytics capabilities
Strong digital mindset, creativity, and team spirit.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
Experience in project and change management
Knowledge of permission marketing and data privacy regulations
Familiarity with agile methodologies and Microsoft Office.
Beneficial Knowledge:
Experience with Tag Management Tools like "Tealium"
Experience with BI Tools like "Datorama"
Experience with Consent Management and Web Compliance Tools like "OneTrust"
