About The Role

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function and to guarantee the financial health of KOSMOS Holding and each of its business units. Member of the leadership team and reporting to the CEO, this role is a strategic advisor for President and CEO, as well as a thoughtful partner for business leaders.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the company's strategic financial planning. Direct the annual budget plan, in close partnership with functional leaders and the Executive Committee, and regular tracking and forecasting with the different departments of the company.
• Lead a team of functional experts across the finance scope, to ensure appropriate business planning and accurate controlling and accounting.
• Define and track strategic KPIs of the company (margins, pricing, business development, etc.) Analyze financial performance, in order to make correct decisions to guarantee compliance with the company's goals.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and financial processes that optimize company management.
• Prepare business managerial reporting (Profit & Loss, balance sheet, cash flows, ...) on a monthly basis, that is timely, accurate, and usable by the business in assessing its financial and economic performance
• Monitor the cash flow into and out of the organization, and calculate the working capital and cash flow projection of the company, on a monthly basis.
• Supervise the audit, taxes and other fiscal matters of the organization, being in contact with external advisory companies.
• Manage the organization's financial information through financial reports, both internal and those established by legal regulations. Organize information and statements for audits and both internal and external auditors.
• Analyze, recommend and implement necessary improvements across the finance landscape of the business to ensure integrity and consistency of financial data.
• Analyze all the financial information, both about the company and the environment, for the best decision-making about the direction to follow in terms of investment, expense controls, adjustments to the company's commercial goals, etc.
• Advise the President or CEO on company decisions according to the goals and calculated risks that are desired to be taken.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor in Business Administration, Economics or similar.
• You have demonstrated 15 years’ experience within the Finance function and 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proactive, flexible, and problem-solving attitude, you are able to prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• You build connections with people, and create a positive and inspiring environment where teams thrive and challenge each other positively.
• Humble and approachable, you are a team player, with great collaboration skills, that always put the team goals above your personal interest.
• Ability to communicate effectively and very operationally, and great listening skills. Fluency in English is a must, and Spanish knowledge is desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
