We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of Noatum Logistics’ new Head Quarters for the Middle East region, located in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi! The opening, which took place on June 26th, was graced by esteemed VIPs, including the Ambassadors of Spain and Egypt to the UAE, and other senior leaders of AD Ports Group and Noatum, along with clients, stakeholders, regulators and partners.   The new HQ marks a significant milestone in the expansion of Noatum Logistics’ regional presence and capabilities. Strategically located at the heart of Abu Dhabi’s logistics hinterland, the facility will centralise business operations and enhance service delivery across the Middle East. With around 200 logistics professionals now based under one roof, Noatum Logistics’ team is poised to lead the future growth of our regional business by serving clients locally, regionally and internationally by leveraging Noatum’s and the broader AD Ports Group’s global trade and logistics ecosystem. Together, the sky’s the Limit!

Our Barcelona team had the incredible opportunity to attend a diversity conference organised by Fundación Adecco. These events aim to change the way we view our differences and disabilities. We were truly inspired by David Aguilar, who, despite having Poland syndrome, developed his own functional prosthetics using Lego pieces! At 17, he created the world’s first fully prosthetic Lego arm, complete with fingers, a motor, and a pressure sensor. His creation, Mk-I, went viral and even set a Guinness World Record. David prefers to call his condition ‘dif-ability’ (different ability) instead of disability, reflecting his spirit of perseverance and resistance to discrimination. Known as ‘Hand Solo,’ David inspires and motivates others by making dif-ability visible, helping young people believe in their dreams. At Noatum, we are committed to creating a more inclusive and respectful society. We're proud to share David’s story to raise global awareness.

The Port Community of #Barcelona commemorates World Environment Day with activities aimed at raising sustainability awareness among our team. Autoterminal Barcelona and 20 other companies have joined the initiative, led by the Environmental Working Group of the Port Community Board with a series of awareness-raising actions targeted at workers to highlight the importance of environmental stewardship. During the informative session, several projects were presented, including the upcoming America's Cup and the implementation of new technologies for sustainability, including boats that run on hydrogen. We are pleased that our colleagues from Autoterminal, Alvaro Almirall and Santiago Moises, are taking part in the World Environment Day celebrations organised by the Port de Barcelona.

🌿 Currently, 40% of our planet’s land is degraded through desertification, directly affecting half of the world's population. Today, on the World Environment Day, the United Nations wants to highlight the need to tackle this problem that is impacting the livelihood of communities around the globe. We at Noatum are committed to upholding the United Nations’ motto: "Our lands. Our Future. We are the #RestorationGeneration." We encourage companies to take on an active role in the fight against desertification through responsible environmental management and the use of innovative solutions to optimise the use of natural resources and reduce the environmental footprint.
