龍 神 ; Literally meaning "Dragon God"), the name's origin in Chinese, written as opposed to "Shenron" (神 龍 ).[1] - Zalama's name is likely derived from "salamander" (サラマンダー, saramandā), which is mythologically associated with fire, especially in Japan, and thus, with dragons as well.
