VPN Gate Academic Experiment Project

VPN Gate Project is an online service as an academic research at the Graduate School of University of Tsukuba, Japan. The purpose of this research is to provide the reliable cloud of "Public VPN Relay Servers" around the world. http://www.vpngate.net/en/ is a list of Public VPN Relay Servers. Anyone can connect to any VPN servers on the list. No user registrations are required. The problem that this research solves: - Some Government's Firewall Blocks to Access Oversea Web Services for Overprotection. Our VPN will provide relay to bypass firewalls. - Problem #3. Public Wi-Fi is under the risk of tapping. Use VPN to secure it. Our research's advantage: Our all VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers are hosted by many volunteers. Anyone can become a volunteer. Volunteers are distributed geographically. The ISPs of volunteers are also distributed. So IP addresses of every VPN servers are distributed. It realizes the strong resistance against firewalls, and guarantee anonymity.
