Doodle for Google 2024 - US Winner

Congratulations to our 2024 Doodle for Google National Winner, Maisie Derlega! Maisie’s Doodle represents her wish for the next 25 years - for her family’s dinner tradition to stay the same.

Maisie describes her Doodle:

“Every Sunday night is filled with chaos, laughter, and the smell of food in my household. The standing invitation goes to any friends and family in the area. As my life grows and changes, my wish for the next 25 years is that this tradition remains a constant.”

The Story

About Doodle for Google 2024

When Maisie was about to answer this year's Doodle for Google contest prompt, “My wish for the next 25 years…”, she considered how much college would change her life. Her Doodle is inspired by her wish to hold onto the things that matter most, even as life changes. Family dinners have always been a safe space for her to bond with the people she loves the most.

As the 2024 Doodle for Google contest national winner, Maisie wins a $55,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology package for her school.

Congratulations, Maisie! A big thank you to you and the tens of thousands of other students across the U.S. who shared their Doodles with us!
